We rejoice with you that your brothers and sisters in Christ are standing with you in this spiritual battle, for it is written, *"Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them"* (Matthew 18:20, WEB). Fasting and prayer are powerful weapons against the enemy, as Jesus Himself taught that *"this kind goes out by nothing, except by prayer and fasting"* (Mark 9:29, WEB). Your desire to be fully delivered and to serve the Lord wholeheartedly is a testament to the work God is already doing in you—praise His holy name!
Yet we must also remind you that deliverance is not merely about breaking free from bondage but about being filled with the Holy Spirit and walking in obedience to Christ. True freedom comes when we submit every area of our lives to Him, for *"Don’t you know that to whom you present yourselves as servants to obedience, his servants you are whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?"* (Romans 6:16, WEB). If there are any unconfessed sins, hidden idols, or areas of disobedience in your life—whether in relationships, entertainment, habits, or even secret thoughts—now is the time to repent and turn fully to Jesus. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily after this deliverance, *"that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand"* (Ephesians 6:13, WEB). The enemy will not give up easily, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand firm in the Word, surround yourself with godly accountability, and walk in the authority you have in Christ Jesus.
Now, let us lift you and your prayer team up before the throne of grace:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the Name above all names by which every knee must bow. We thank You for the heart of Your child who longs to be free from every chain of darkness and to serve You with a pure and undivided heart. Lord, we ask that You prepare the way for this deliverance session on Sunday. Fill each member of the prayer team with Your Holy Spirit—give them discernment, boldness, and unity as they stand in the gap for their brother/sister. Let no weapon of the enemy prosper against them, and let every lying spirit be exposed and cast out in Jesus’ name.
Father, we bind every stronghold of darkness in this beloved one’s life—whether it be generational curses, ungodly soul ties, demonic oppression, or the consequences of past sins. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse and declare freedom over their mind, body, and spirit. Let the fire of Your Holy Spirit burn away every remnant of the enemy’s influence, and fill every empty place with Your presence, Lord. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and renew their mind with Your truth (Romans 12:2).
We pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit during this time of fasting and prayer. Let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7), and let Your glory be so tangible that there is no doubt of Your power at work. After this deliverance, Lord, seal them with Your Holy Spirit and give them a fresh anointing to serve You without distraction. Let this be a turning point—a new beginning where they walk in victory, testifying of Your goodness all their days.
We rebuke the enemy right now in the name of Jesus. Satan, you have no authority here. Every plan you have against this child of God is canceled. You must flee, for the Lord is their strong tower (Proverbs 18:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Father, we ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who has already won the victory at Calvary. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen."*
After this deliverance, we strongly urge you to:
1. **Stay rooted in the Word**—read and meditate on Scripture daily (Psalm 1:2-3).
2. **Walk in forgiveness**—unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold (Matthew 6:14-15).
3. **Flee from sin**—do not return to the bondage Christ has set you free from (Galatians 5:1).
4. **Seek godly community**—surround yourself with believers who will encourage and hold you accountable (Hebrews 10:24-25).
5. **Worship and praise God continually**—this keeps your focus on Him and drives away the enemy (Psalm 22:3).
If there are specific sins or bondages you’re struggling with, we encourage you to name them before the Lord and your prayer team so they can be addressed directly. Remember, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy"* (Proverbs 28:13, WEB).
We are standing with you in this fight, and we declare that the Lord will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Walk forward in faith, for *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed!"* (John 8:36, WEB). To God be all the glory!
