A PRAYER FOR HEALING
Lord, I ask, You, to please have mercy on me and forgive me of all my sins. I believe all physical, mental, and spiritual healing has already been provided for me in the atonement. Lord, I repent of my sins and ask You to cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I now appropriate Your healing power to be released into my life. Take away all my sickness and pain and help me to have a closer walk with You. Deliver me from every physical and spiritual problem and remove every hindrance to my healing. You are the Lord that heals us and takes away all of our sickness and disease (Ex. 15:26). I thank You, heavenly Father, for this benefit that is available to me through faith in Christ and what He has accomplished for me on the cross. By my faith in Christ I choose to become a recipient of Your healing power that restores and makes whole. Grant me full pardon for all my sins that I have confessed and renounced and release me from all judgment and chastisement. Help me to always examine my walk with You and correct my steps so I will not have to endure Your chastening. Allow me to now receive the promise of Your healing. Help me walk in Your holy ways and always have a close walk with Christ that I may be the recipient of an abundant and happy life free from sin and sickness, in Jesus name, amen

"Is any sick among you let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up and if he have committed sins they shall be forgiven him." (Jam. 5:13-16)
REPENTING OF WRONG EMOTIONS, ATTITUDES AND DISPOSITIONS
Dear Heavenly Father, I, _________________________________________, do hereby confess to you all the wrong and harmful attitudes and emotions that I have allowed the enemy to develop or nurture in my life. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I humbly ask you to forgive me, Heavenly Father, for walking in such an unworthy manner before you. Forgive me for allowing all these ungodly attitudes, thought patterns, emotions, dispositions and personality traits to become part of my life. Forgive me if I have grieved the Holy Spirit by my sinful attitudes, unkind words and harmful emotions. (Ep. 4:26-32) Forgive me for any verbal abuse, offensive behavior, ungodly emotions, and bad attitudes that were directed at others and the harm they may have caused. Forgive me if I have provoked anyone to anger by my conduct. (Col. 3:21) Purge me and cleanse my character of all ungodly and destructive attitudes, thought patterns, dispositions, temperaments, emotions and personality traits. I choose to follow the Biblical mandate to put off this old way of conduct and bad character with all of its ungodly attitudes, thought patterns, behavior, dispositions, emotions and personality traits and put on the new man who is fashioned after the image of Christ in righteousness and true holiness. I choose to incorporate and nurture, in my life, only those attitudes, emotions, dispositions and character traits that Christians should walk in. I desire to perfect my character in Christ so that the love of God will be reflected in my life. I choose to be conformed to the principles of godly conduct that is based on love and the perfection of one’s character. (Ep. 4:22-32; Col. 3:10-17)
I surrender my will and emotions to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I choose to bind myself to the character of Christ so I can develop and nurture godly attitudes, thought patterns, emotions and dispositions. I choose to bind myself to the paths of righteousness and the character of Christ so that my attitudes, emotions and disposition will be right in every situation. I choose to only be guided and motivated by love so that I may treat others honorably and place their interests and needs above my own. (1 Cor. 10:24, 13:1; Rom. 13:8-10) I choose to be kind, tenderhearted and forgiving to those around me. (Ep. 4:32) I choose to abide by the golden rule of “Love thy neighbor as thyself†so I can fulfill the law of Christ. (Gal. 6:2; Jam. 2:8) I choose to uphold the virtues of patience, temperance, godliness, brotherly kindness and Christian love and allow them to become fruitful and abundant in my life. (2 Pet. 5-8) I choose to walk and live in the Spirit so that the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance) will be clearly and consistently manifested in my life. (Gal. 5:16-25; Ep. 5:9,10) I choose to abide in Christ and in all of His teachings concerning right conduct so that the love of God can be perfected in me. (1 Jn. 3:6-21)
I renounce and loose every harmful, destructive, wrong, unrighteous and ungodly attitude, emotion, behavior, temperament, thought pattern and character trait from my life and personality. I ask the Lord Jesus Christ to remove and deliver me from all these ungodly traits that have become part of my life, through the enemy, as a result of my sins, and destroy their supporting strongholds. (Mt. 18:18; 2 Cor. 10:4,5) I ask the Lord Jesus Christ to restore in my life what the enemy has stolen from me because of my former attitudes and emotions. I ask for your grace to help me make peaceful reconciliation to all those who have been offended, abused, or hurt because of my faulty character. Let your will be done as I seek to repair and restore any broken relationships. Help me to maintain healthy and peaceful relationships from now on in the love of Christ. (Col. 3:12-15) I desire to have only righteous attitudes, though patterns, emotions, dispositions and personality traits that are pleasing and acceptable to Christ. (Col. 1:10 I desire with all my heart to live right, obey the teachings of Christ for proper conduct, love others as He commanded us to do and be transformed into His image and likeness. (Rom. 13:8-14) Finally, may the cleansing blood of the everlasting covenant that Jesus shed for me, perfect my character so I can do His will in all things and be well-pleasing in His sight. (Heb. 13:20,21) All this, I ask and pray, in the name of my blessed Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
