Deliverance from violence and abuse

I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH VIOLENCE AND ABUSE FOR A DECADE NOW. I HAVE TO ### CHILDREN AND THEY ARE EXPERIENCING THE VIOLENCE I AM GOING THROUGH. EVENTHOUGH, THEY ARE JUST ### YEARS AND ### YEARS. I NEED PRAYERS AND SCRIPTURES TO FIND COMFORT AND FOR MY CHILDREN TO GROW UP IN A HEALTHY FAMILY INSTEAD OF ABUSIVE FATHER AND HUSBAND TO ME.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you and your precious children up in prayer. The pain and fear you’ve endured for a decade is not unknown to our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every cry. The violence and abuse you describe is an affront to God’s design for family, where love, respect, and safety should reign. Scripture is clear: *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are not alone, and your children are not forgotten.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of violence and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to destroy families, but we declare that Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33 WEB). The abuse you and your children are suffering is not God’s will, and we stand against it with the authority given to us through Christ. *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). We pray for divine intervention to break every chain of abuse and for the abuser to be convicted by the Holy Spirit to repentance or removed from your lives if necessary.

For you, dear sister, we pray for strength and wisdom. The weight of protecting your children while enduring abuse yourself is overwhelming, but God promises: *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble"* (Psalm 46:1 WEB). We ask the Lord to surround you with godly support—people who will stand with you, help you make safe decisions, and remind you of your worth in Christ. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB), and your value is not defined by the cruelty of another.

For your children, we pray for healing and protection. Their young hearts and minds should not bear the scars of violence. We declare over them: *"The Lord will give strength to his people. The Lord will bless his people with peace"* (Psalm 29:11 WEB). May they know the love of their Heavenly Father, who is a perfect parent, and may they grow up in an environment where they feel safe, cherished, and free to thrive. We ask God to restore their innocence and fill their hearts with hope.

We must also address the reality of your situation with urgency. Scripture commands us to *"rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them out of the hand of the wicked"* (Psalm 82:4 WEB). If you have not already done so, we strongly encourage you to seek help from local authorities, a trusted pastor, or a Christian counselor who can assist you in creating a safety plan. God does not intend for you or your children to remain in harm’s way. *"But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice. Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you"* (Psalm 5:11 WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, who can heal your wounds and give you new life. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9 WEB). Jesus is the ultimate deliverer, and He longs to set you free.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for this sister and her children. Lord, You see the pain they have endured, and You hate the violence that has been done to them. We ask You to arise as their defender and protector. Break every chain of abuse, Lord, and bring justice to their situation. Surround them with Your angels and place a hedge of protection around them. Give this sister the strength and courage to take the steps necessary to ensure her safety and the safety of her children. Provide her with godly counsel, supportive friends, and the resources she needs to escape this darkness.

For her children, Father, we ask for healing. Mend their broken hearts and restore their sense of security. Let them know Your love and peace in a tangible way. Shield their minds from the trauma they have witnessed and fill their lives with joy and hope.

We rebuke the spirit of violence and oppression in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Bring conviction to the abuser, Lord, and lead him to repentance. If he refuses to change, remove him from their lives so that they may live in peace.

Lord, we also ask for Your provision. Provide a way of escape for this family, whether through financial means, a safe place to stay, or opportunities for a fresh start. Open doors that no man can shut and close doors that would lead them back into harm.

Finally, Father, we pray for salvation. If this sister does not yet know You as her Lord and Savior, draw her to Yourself. Let her experience Your love and grace in a powerful way. May she and her children come to know You as their refuge and strength.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

You are not forgotten, and your cries have not gone unheard. The Lord is your strong tower, and He will see you through this valley. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. *"Those who sow in tears will reap in joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves"* (Psalm 126:5-6 WEB). Your breakthrough is coming.

We're here with you, sister. We've been praying for you and your little ones, asking God to wrap you in His loving arms and pour out His healing and protection. We know it's been a long, hard road, but we want you to know that you're not alone in this fight.

We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is already in the process of mending your hearts and the hearts of your children. We're asking Him to fill you with His strength and courage, to guide your steps, and to open doors that no one can shut.

For your children, we're praying that God would give them peace and security. We're asking Him to protect their innocence and fill their hearts with hope and joy. We're claiming Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We're also interceding for you, dear sister, that God would give you wisdom and guidance. We're asking Him to surround you with godly support, people who will stand with you, encourage you, and remind you of your worth in Christ. We're claiming Psalm 147:3, "He strengthens the broken and binds up their wounds."

Lastly, we're praying for divine intervention. We're asking God to break every chain of abuse and to bring justice to your situation. We're claiming Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me," declares the Lord.

We're here for you, and we'll continue to lift you and your children up in prayer. Trust in the Lord, and lean on Him. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not forgotten, and your cries have not gone unheard. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He is working even when you can't see it.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, we come to You with a heavy and desperate heart, lifting up this mother and her two young children. For a decade, they have known violence and abuse. The home that should be a place of safety has been a place of fear. Lord, You see every tear, you hear every cry, and you know every wound that has been inflicted on their hearts and bodies.

We cry out to You, the God of justice and the Father of compassion. Your Word promises in Psalm 72:12-14, "For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight." We claim this promise today. Rescue them, Lord. Deliver them from this oppression.

We pray for supernatural protection over this mother and her precious children, ages ### and ###. Surround them with Your angels. Guard their steps and their sleep. As it is written in Psalm 121:7-8, "The Lord will keep you from all harm—he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Be their refuge and their fortress.

Father, we ask for comfort that only You can give. Heal the trauma that has taken root in their little hearts and in their mother's spirit. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Draw close to them now. Let them feel Your presence and Your love in a tangible way.

We pray for a future that is radically different from their present. We ask that these children would grow up not in violence, but in a healthy, peaceful, and loving family. We pray for a home filled with safety, laughter, and the knowledge of Your love. We speak Isaiah 54:13 over them: "All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace." Let peace be their inheritance.

Lord, we ask for wisdom, strength, and courage for this mother. Guide her steps toward safety and provide her with the resources and support she needs to protect her children and rebuild their lives. Thank You for being a God who sees, who hears, and who saves.

In the mighty and delivering name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
