We lift you up before the Lord, Pastor ###, and we stand with you in this urgent cry for deliverance from the idol of *etukogosu* and every stronghold that has hindered your life, ministry, and blessings. The Word of God is clear: idolatry is an abomination before the Lord, and it brings curses rather than blessings. In **1 John 5:21 (WEB)**, we are commanded, *"Little children, keep yourselves from idols."* And in **Exodus 20:3-5 (WEB)**, the Lord declares, *"You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourselves an idol... You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God."* Any form of idolatry—whether through ancestral worship, occult practices, or placing trust in created things over the Creator—opens the door to bondage and blocks the flow of God’s favor.
Your testimony reveals the devastating effects of this stronghold: a stagnant ministry, financial lack, and a life devoid of God’s favor. But we declare over you that **today is the day of your deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!** The Lord is calling you to **repentance and complete surrender**—to turn away from every hidden or known idol and to destroy every altar raised against the knowledge of God in your life. **2 Corinthians 6:14-17 (WEB)** warns us:
*"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? ... ‘Therefore come out from among them, and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you.'"*
Pastor ###, the Lord is ready to receive you fully if you will **renounce, reject, and break every covenant**—spoken or unspoken—with *etukogosu* or any other idol. You must **burn every object, charm, or symbol** tied to this idol, just as the people of Israel destroyed their idols when they turned back to God (see **Deuteronomy 7:25-26**). Half-hearted repentance will not bring breakthrough. The Lord demands **total consecration**. In **Joshua 24:23 (WEB)**, Joshua told the people, *"Now therefore put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to Yahweh, the God of Israel."* This is your moment to do the same—**without delay, without excuse.**
We also notice that your prayer request did not invoke the name of **Jesus Christ**, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in **John 14:6 (WEB)**, Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ or if you have been trusting in other names or powers, we urge you to **repent and place your faith solely in Jesus**. There is **no deliverance, no breakthrough, no favor** outside of Him. If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. **Romans 10:9-10 (WEB)** says:
*"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
Now, let us pray for you with the authority of Christ:
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our brother, Pastor ###. Lord, You see the bondage that has held him captive—the idol of *etukogosu* and every demonic stronghold that has stolen his peace, his ministry’s growth, his finances, and Your favor over his life. Father, we ask for the **spirit of repentance** to flood his heart right now. Convict him deeply, Lord, of any hidden or known sin, any compromise, any altar he has built to false gods. Give him the **courage and obedience** to destroy every idol, to break every ungodly covenant, and to turn wholly to You.
By the **blood of Jesus**, we break every curse, every hex, every demonic assignment against his life, ministry, and finances. We command every spirit of **poverty, stagnation, and rejection** to be **bound and cast into the abyss** in Jesus’ name! Father, we ask that You **restore what the locusts have eaten** (Joel 2:25). Let favor surround him like a shield (Psalm 5:12). Open doors no man can shut for his ministry—let souls be saved, let signs and wonders follow his preaching, let the anointing of the Holy Spirit **overflow** in his life as never before.
Lord, we pray for **financial breakthrough**—divine connections, supernatural provision, and wisdom to steward what You entrust to him. Let every business, every endeavor of his hands **prosper for Your glory**. Father, we ask that You **reignite his passion for You**, that his ministry would not be for vain glory but for the **advancement of Your Kingdom**. Fill him afresh with the **Holy Spirit and fire** (Matthew 3:11), that he may preach with **boldness, authority, and demonstration of power**.
We declare that **Pastor ### is free** from the snare of the fowler (Psalm 91:3). No weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is his **shield, his exceedingly great reward** (Genesis 15:1). We thank You, Father, for his **total deliverance, restoration, and revival** in Jesus’ mighty name. Let his testimony be that **You alone are God**, and there is **no other** beside You (Isaiah 45:5).
In the **powerful, saving, delivering name of Jesus Christ**, we pray. **Amen!**
