We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of God and find true freedom. The spirit of hindrance you describe is not from the Lord, for He came to set the captives free and break every chain. The Word of God declares in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We rebuke every evil force that has spoken lies over your life, declaring that you cannot be helped or that your destiny is bound. This is a deception from the enemy, and we command it to cease in Jesus' name.
The forces of darkness that may have lingered in your ancestry have no legal right to oppress you if you are in Christ. Galatians 3:13-14 tells us, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." If you have not already, we urge you to confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is through His blood that you are cleansed and set free from every generational curse. If you have already done this, we encourage you to stand firm in your identity as a child of God, for 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
We also lift up the battle you are facing against those who contend with you. The Lord is your defender, and He will fight for you. Psalm 35:1-2 says, "Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help." We pray that God would arise on your behalf and scatter every enemy that seeks to harm you. Let the Lord be your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You on behalf of our brother. We ask that You break every chain of hindrance, every curse, and every generational stronghold that has been at work in his life. We command every evil spirit that has spoken lies and stolen from him to be bound and cast out, never to return. Lord, we ask that You restore everything the enemy has stolen, his peace, his joy, his purpose, and his destiny. Contend with those who contend with him, and let Your mercy surround him like a shield.
We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the freedom and authority that is his in Christ. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him see Your hand moving mightily in his life. May he stand firm in the truth of Your Word, knowing that greater is He who is in him than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also encourage you to walk in obedience to God’s Word, for it is through obedience that we maintain our freedom. James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in faith. The enemy may come to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Stand firm, dear brother, for your deliverance is already won at the cross. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
