We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is crying out for deliverance from pain and torment. The enemy is relentless, but our God is greater, and He has already triumphed over every scheme of darkness. We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, declaring freedom and breakthrough for this beloved one in His mighty name.
The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are assured in 1 John 4:4, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* The Lord sees the tears, hears the cries, and promises to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). He does not abandon His children in their suffering but is faithful to deliver them from all their afflictions (Psalm 34:19).
We also remember the words of Jesus in John 10:10, *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* The enemy seeks to steal joy, kill hope, and destroy faith, but Jesus came to restore, renew, and redeem. This torment is not from God—He is the God of comfort, peace, and restoration (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). We rebuke every lie, every accusation, and every attack of the enemy against this beloved one’s mind and emotions. Satan has no authority here, for Christ has already disarmed him and triumphed over him at the cross (Colossians 2:15).
To the one suffering: we urge you to cling to Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Do not lose heart, for your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). The pain you feel is real, but it is temporary. The Lord is refining you, strengthening you, and preparing you for a testimony of His faithfulness. Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Fill your mind with the Word of God, worship in the midst of the storm, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it.
We also gently ask: have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? Is He your Lord and Savior? There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, we are powerless against the enemy, but in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved one who is under attack. Lord, You see the pain, the torment, and the tears. You know the depth of their suffering, and You are not distant—You are near. We ask for Your mighty hand to intervene and break every chain of oppression in their life. Lord, rebuke the enemy and command his forces to flee. Let every lie, every accusation, and every scheme of darkness be exposed and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus.
Father, we pray for supernatural peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, comforting them in ways that surpass all understanding. Restore their joy, renew their strength, and remind them that they are not alone—You are with them, and You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Lord, if there is any area of their life that is not surrendered to You, reveal it to them. If there is sin that has given the enemy a foothold, bring conviction and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them, Father, and make them whole. Let this season of suffering be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.
We declare breakthrough in their life, Lord. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Let them experience Your goodness, Your love, and Your abundant life. Give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11), and let them walk in the freedom that Christ has already purchased for them.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them rise from this battle victorious, with a story of Your deliverance to share with others.
