We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting your plea for deliverance before the throne of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. The fear and torment you are experiencing through these dreams are not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal your peace, but we declare that Jesus is your peace (Ephesians 2:14), and He has already crushed the head of the serpent (Genesis 3:15). You have called upon the mighty name of Jesus, and we join you in that holy name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your faith in Christ alone for deliverance is a testament to your trust in Him, and we rejoice that you have placed your hope in the One who holds all authority.
The Word of God assures us that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). These dreams that disturb your sleep and bring fear are weapons of the enemy, but they will not prevail. The Lord is your keeper; He is your shield on your right hand (Psalm 121:5). He neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever (Psalm 121:8). We command every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression to flee from you now in the name of Jesus Christ. We break every assignment of the enemy against your mind, your sleep, and your peace, and we declare that the blood of Jesus covers you, sanctifies you, and sets you free.
We also encourage you to take authority over these dreams yourself. Before you sleep, pray and ask the Lord to surround you with His angels (Psalm 91:11) and to fill your mind with His peace. Speak the Word of God over yourself, such as Psalm 4:8: *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."* Meditate on Scripture before bed, and resist the temptation to dwell on the fears the enemy has planted. The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack by the forces of darkness. Lord, You know the fears that grip their heart and the torment that disrupts their sleep. We ask You to stretch out Your hand and deliver them completely from every evil scheme of the enemy. Rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and anxiety, and command them to flee in the name of Jesus. Fill our brother/sister with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You restore their sleep and remove every disturbance that the enemy has sent. Let Your angels encamp around them, and let Your presence be their comfort and strength. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they will lie down in peace and wake in safety, for You, Lord, are their dwelling place.
We also pray that You would reveal to them any open doors in their life that may have given the enemy a foothold. If there is any sin, known or unknown, that needs to be repented of, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to true repentance. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and seal them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and freedom.
Father, we thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We thank You that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We declare their freedom in Jesus’ name, and we give You all the glory for the deliverance You are bringing.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen and amen.
Stand firm in your faith, and do not let the enemy convince you that this battle is yours to fight alone. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If these disturbances persist, we encourage you to seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature believer who can pray with you and help you walk in complete victory. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and the Lord is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
