We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is clear that the enemy is seeking to torment you through these disturbing dreams, but we declare in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that this oppression must cease! You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus, for it is the only name under heaven by which we are saved and through which we have authority over the powers of darkness (Acts 4:12).
The Word of God assures us that Jesus has already triumphed over every demonic force. Colossians 2:15 tells us that He "disarmed the principalities and powers" and "made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it." Therefore, we command every demonic assignment against your mind and sleep to be broken now in Jesus' name. The blood of Jesus is your protection, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord will give you peaceful sleep, for He says in Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety."
We also encourage you to guard your mind and spirit before sleep. Philippians 4:6-8 instructs us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." Fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and prayer before resting, and reject any fear or anxiety that the enemy may try to plant.
If there are any unconfessed sins, areas of unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices—even seemingly harmless ones—we urge you to repent and turn fully to Christ. James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Submission to God and resistance to the devil go hand in hand. Examine your life and heart, and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that may be giving the enemy a foothold.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is under attack through disturbing dreams. Lord, You are the God of peace, and we ask that You crush Satan under our feet (Romans 16:20). We bind every spirit of fear, torment, and confusion that is attempting to oppress this child of Yours. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these dreams to stop immediately. We declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask that You reveal any open doors in their life that may be allowing the enemy to gain access. Give them the courage to repent, forgive, and walk in complete obedience to You. Fill their mind with Your Word and Your presence as they sleep, and let them rest in the safety of Your arms. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.
Lord, we thank You for Your deliverance and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. Strengthen their faith and help them to stand firm in Your promises. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen and Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not allow the enemy to have the final say. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and continue to declare His victory over your life. If these dreams persist, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and prayer support from mature believers in your local church. You are not alone in this fight—we are with you, and most importantly, the Lord is with you!
