We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother whose name we do not know, but whom the Lord knows intimately. Father, we thank You that You see his struggles, his weariness, and his deep need for Your intervention. We stand in the gap for him, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
First and foremost, we pray for his salvation if he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask that You draw him to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness, that he may know the truth that sets him free (John 8:32). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved—only the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). If he has not confessed Jesus as Lord, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and that he would repent and believe in the Gospel. If he is already a believer, we pray for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit, that he may walk in deeper intimacy with You.
We rebuke every spirit of toxicity, oppression, and fear in his workplace in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we ask for angelic protection over him, that no evil would befall him, nor any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Cover him from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet with the precious blood of Jesus, that no harm, no accusation, and no slander would touch him. We declare that his steps are ordered by You, Lord, and that You will not allow his foot to be moved (Psalm 121:3).
We pray for wisdom and discernment to guard his heart and mind. Give him the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16), that he may know Your will in every situation. Help him to discern the spirits, to recognize the traps of the enemy, and to walk in Your truth. May he not be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2). We also pray for godly relationships—brothers and sisters in Christ who will walk with him, encourage him, and hold him accountable. Lead him to a church family where he can grow in faith, serve in love, and find true fellowship.
Father, we ask for balance in his life. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that he may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray against the spirit of overwork and burnout. Grant him the courage to leave his workplace at a reasonable hour, trusting that You are his Provider. Sustain his job, Lord, and surround him with diligent and capable teammates who will lighten his load. We declare that his untaken leave will be honored, his bonus will be paid in full, and his finances will be secure according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We also pray for his health—spirit, soul, and body. Heal every known and unknown sickness, Lord. Strengthen him where he is weak, and restore what has been stolen from him. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Protect his mind from anxiety, his heart from discouragement, and his body from disease. Let him find rest in You, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).
Finally, we pray for his family. Bless them with provision, peace, and unity. May they experience Your love in tangible ways, and may this brother be a godly example to them. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
