We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in fervent prayer. The torment you describe—demons afflicting your mind, brain, and body—is not of God, for He has given us authority in Jesus’ name to resist such darkness. The numbness and mental distress you endure are not your portion as a child of God, for He declares in His Word, *"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed"* (Luke 4:18 WEB). This promise is for you today.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are facing. The Bible is clear: *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). You are not fighting alone—Christ has already disarmed these powers through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15). We rebuke every demonic spirit tormenting your mind and body in the mighty name of Jesus. We command them to flee, for *"He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4 WEB). You have been bought with the precious blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for your physical and mental healing. The Lord is your healer, as Exodus 15:26 declares: *"I am Yahweh who heals you."* We ask Him to restore your mind, renew your thoughts, and bring clarity where there has been confusion. The numbness in your body must bow to the power of Jesus, who touched the sick and made them whole. We stand on His promise: *"By his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
But we must also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may have allowed this torment. Have you engaged in practices such as divination, occult involvement, or unrepentant sin? The Bible warns, *"Do not give the devil a foothold"* (Ephesians 4:27 NIV). If there are areas of your life not surrendered to Christ, we urge you to repent and renounce them. Confess your sins, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB). True deliverance comes through submission to God and resistance to the devil (James 4:7).
We also encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture and prayer. Put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. You are not meant to walk this path alone.
Above all, we pray that you would draw near to Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. There is no deliverance or healing outside of Him. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31 WEB). Salvation is found in no one else, for *"there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He alone can break every chain.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Deliverer and Healer. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for complete freedom from every demonic oppression. Break every chain, Lord, and set him/her free. Heal his/her mind, restore his/her body, and renew his/her spirit. Fill him/her with Your Holy Spirit, that he/she may walk in the fullness of Your peace and power. We declare that no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him/her in judgment, You will condemn. We thank You for Your faithfulness, for You are a God who hears and answers prayer. May Your will be done in his/her life, and may he/she come to know You more deeply through this trial. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
