We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts for you, knowing the torment and affliction you are enduring. The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus Christ has already won the victory over sin, death, and every demonic force. You are not alone in this battle—our Lord is with you, and He is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address the doorway that allowed these demons to gain a foothold in your life. You have rightly identified pornography as the likely entry point, and we commend you for your honesty. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality—including pornography—is a sin against your own body (1 Corinthians 6:18) and opens the door to demonic influence. Pornography is not just a habit; it is a spiritual stronghold that must be broken in the name of Jesus. Repentance is the first step to freedom. The Apostle Paul urges us to "flee sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to "put to death the deeds of the body" (Romans 8:13). We encourage you to turn away from this sin completely, seeking accountability with a mature believer or pastor who can walk with you in this battle. Confess this sin to God, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Now, let us stand together in the authority of Jesus Christ against these demonic forces. The Word of God tells us that we have been given power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We bind these spirits of fear, restlessness, confusion, and infirmity in the name of Jesus, and we command them to leave you now. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we declare that the blood of Jesus covers you, breaking every curse and stronghold in your life. The Lord rebukes these demons, and they must flee (James 4:7). We also pray for the healing of your heart and nervous system. Jesus bore your infirmities on the cross (Isaiah 53:4-5), and by His stripes, you are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We ask the Lord to restore your body, renew your strength, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We recognize the despair you are feeling—the sense of hopelessness and the weight of this battle. But take heart, for the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Even in this dark hour, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Do not give in to the lie that you cannot go on. The enemy wants to destroy you, but God has a plan and a purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Cling to Jesus, for He is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7).
We also lift up your family in prayer. The enemy seeks to bring division and despair, but we ask the Lord to surround them with His peace and protection. May they be strengthened in faith and trust in the Lord, knowing that He is your healer and deliverer. We pray that your family would see the Lord’s hand at work in your life and that this trial would draw all of you closer to Him.
Finally, we urge you to fill your mind and heart with the Word of God. Meditate on Scripture day and night (Joshua 1:8), for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) and your weapon against the enemy’s lies. Surround yourself with worship and prayer, and seek fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in this fight. The battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is under fierce attack. Lord, we thank You that You are a God of deliverance and healing, and that nothing is impossible for You. We confess the sin of pornography and ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Break every stronghold in his life, Lord, and set him free from the chains of addiction. We bind every demonic spirit afflicting him—spirits of fear, restlessness, confusion, and infirmity—and we command them to leave now in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and we plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, body, and spirit.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his heart and nervous system. Restore his body, renew his strength, and fill him with Your peace. Comfort him in his distress and remind him that You are near. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and protect him from further attacks. Strengthen his family and draw them closer to You through this trial.
Father, we ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, empowering him to walk in victory and holiness. Give him the strength to resist temptation and to flee from sin. Renew his mind with Your Word and fill his heart with Your love. Let him know that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. May he experience Your deliverance and healing in a powerful way, and may this season of suffering draw him deeper into Your presence. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
