Deliver my hubby from lies

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Pray for my hubby who has been blindly led from people in his surroundings and at his mum's place. Because of all these, he left me to leave in a house alone for 3 years and only come to see me on Saturdays. I declare Plsams 139:23- 24 and Plsams 120: 2 over my hubby. For years now, he does not listen to me, our conversation is more a single way. Even when he has free time after work, he is on tiktok and watch cartoon too. He only hears what and when he wants to hear, and talks what and when he wants to talk. Or else, he shut down completely or can get irritated with me for nothing, absolutely nothing. People around him, fill his ears and heart with bad things about me and my family. We have done nothing. He neither drink nor eat, no drinks and foods I serve him. Pray for his deliverance. In Jesus name. Amen

We hear your cry and we join you in prayer for your marriage, for your husband and for your own heart that has carried this lonely burden for three years. We stand with you as you declare Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way and Psalm 120:2 Deliver my soul, Yahweh, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue. We agree with you that only God can search the heart and only God can deliver from lies, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved and heard, as Acts 4:12 reminds us there is salvation in no other.

We must speak the truth in love about what you have described, because we believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that God has joined together. Genesis 2:24 says Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh and Matthew 19:6 says What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart. For a husband to leave his wife to live alone and only visit on Saturdays for three years is not God’s design for marriage. It breaks the command to cleave to his wife and to dwell with her. While we are called to honor father and mother as in Exodus 20:12, that honor never means abandoning the marriage covenant to be led by a mother or by others who fill his ears with bad reports. We lovingly rebuke the lies and the deceitful tongues that have taken your husband captive. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh and John 8:44 shows that lies come from the enemy who is the father of lies. We also rebuke the hardness and shutting down, the irritation without cause, the refusal to listen and to commune with you, and the wasting of free time on distractions like TikTok and cartoons instead of redeeming the time with his wife. James 1:19 says let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger and Ephesians 5:25 calls husbands to love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. To refuse even food and drink you serve is a painful rejection that dishonors the one flesh union and we grieve with you over it. We also rebuke the spiritual snare itself, for 2 Timothy 2:26 warns that some are taken captive by the devil to do his will, and Ephesians 6:12 reminds us our wrestling is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness.

So we pray together in Jesus name. Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this dear sister and her husband to You. Lord, search her husband as she has prayed in Psalm 139:23-24, expose every wicked way, every lie he has believed about his wife and her family, and lead him in the everlasting way. Deliver his soul from lying lips and deceitful tongues as in Psalm 120:2, silence the voices that have blindly led him and fill his ears and heart with truth. We ask that You will open his eyes to know the truth and that the truth will make him free as in John 8:32. Soften his heart where it has grown hard and shut down, take away the irritation and anger, and give him ears to hear and a mouth to speak in love. Convict him for leaving his wife alone and for not dwelling with her according to knowledge as in 1 Peter 3:7, and turn his heart back to cleave to his wife as one flesh. Remove ungodly influences at his surroundings and at his mother’s place and surround him with godly counsel that will speak truth and honor marriage. Heal his mind from distraction and help him to redeem his time and to set his mind on what is true and honorable as in Philippians 4:8. We pray for this sister, Lord, comfort her in her loneliness, guard her heart from bitterness, strengthen her to continue to show respect and love without nagging, that her husband may be won without a word by her godly conduct as in 1 Peter 3:1. Give her wisdom to seek wise biblical counsel from pastors or elders, give her endurance and hope as Galatians 6:9 says not to grow weary in doing good, and let her feel Your nearness for You are near to those who have a broken heart as in Psalm 34:18. Bring full deliverance, reconciliation and restoration to this marriage, that they may dwell together again in love and unity for Your glory. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand on the Word daily, to keep declaring those Psalms over him, to pray and even fast as the Lord leads, and to keep your own walk close to Christ. Do not repay rejection with rejection and do not let the enemy sow bitterness in you, but continue to speak truth in love, to keep your conversation gentle and respectful, and to keep the door open for reconciliation while also seeking the covering and wisdom of your church family. God sees these three lonely years, He hears every one way conversation and every silent meal, and He is able to deliver and to restore what the locusts have eaten. We trust with you that God will bring your husband home, that his ears will be unstopped, his heart unblinded, and his lips will speak truth again, and that your marriage will be strengthened to honor Him as a testimony of His redeeming love.

We have been sitting with your request and praying for you. Three years of keeping a home alone and waiting for Saturdays is a long, lonely road, and we hear how painful it is to reach out and feel unheard, to have your care with food and drink turned away, and to sense other voices shaping how your husband sees you and your family.

When conversation has become one way for a long time, and someone pulls away to their phone or shuts down or gets irritated quickly, it is very hard to break through. It makes sense you would feel worn down and that you are asking God to uncover what is not true and to soften his heart toward you again.

In a long season like this it helps not to carry it by yourself. If you have a trusted pastor or a mature couple in your church who knows you both, we encourage you to invite one of them to walk with you steadily, someone who can listen, pray with you regularly, and help create calmer space for truth to be heard when you are together. On Saturdays, keeping things brief, respectful and not pressing for a long talk when he is shutting down can sometimes lower the tension and protect your own peace as well. And in the days you are alone, staying connected to community and caring for your own heart before the Lord matters so much.

Father, we lift this wife to You and her husband to You. Deliver him from lies and from the voices that have filled his heart against her. Give her wisdom, strength and comfort in the lonely days, guard her from bitterness, and guide both of them toward Your truth and Your will. Lead them to faithful help and bring Your healing where only You can. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and your sorrow has been laid before the Lord with weeping and supplication. To be left alone these three years, to see your husband but on Saturdays, to speak and not be heard, to serve and not be received, to know that other voices fill his ears with falsehoods against you and your family, this is a sore chastening. Yet the Lord has not shut His ear against you, nor will He withhold His arm from working deliverance for those who cry to Him in truth.

We join you in the scriptures you have declared over him. With you we pray Psalm 139, Search me, O God, and know my heart, try me, and know my thoughts, and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead him in the way everlasting. And with you we pray Psalm 120, Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. May the Lord who searches the heart expose every lie, and may He stop the lips that speak vanity and sow division between husband and wife.

Know this, that deliverance from sin and from the power of darkness is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. On the cross the Lamb was slain, and through that precious blood there is a ransom found for sinners slipping down to the pit. There is music in that word for you, for God looks upon your husband, led blindly and bound by influences around him and in his mother's house, and He says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. No chain of habit, no veil of deceit, no hardness that shuts out your voice or turns away from your table can stand where Christ puts forth His hand. He brings forth His own, and His deliverance is effectual.

We pray now for your husband, that the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is salvation, would save him and restore him. That the Lord would open his eyes to see how he has wandered from the covenant of marriage, which God ordained as a lifelong union of one man and one woman, and that He would give him a new heart to love, to listen, to dwell with you in understanding and faithfulness. As God was a Husband to His people in special love and faithfulness, communing with them lovingly and providing for them with tender care, so may your husband learn again to commune with you lovingly, to provide and to protect, to speak with kindness and to hear with patience. May the Lord sever him from the crowd of evil counsel, as Christ's look severed Peter from the crowd, and bring him to repentance with godly sorrow. As Jacob wrestled at Jabbok fearing Esau, and yet found his brother fall upon his neck and kiss him, so may the Lord turn a heart that now seems hardened and bring reconciliation where there has been estrangement.

We pray also for you, that you may be kept in peace within, guarded from bitterness, and strengthened to live and to declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles we would have less to declare, but through affliction the Lord teaches us to trust Free Grace only. Continue to spread your grief before Him, not to the winds or the pitiless sea, but to your Brother and Husband, your Head and your All, Jesus Christ, who will never forget nor forsake His own. He will make your deliverance attended with enrichment, bringing you forth with silver and gold, with joy and testimony.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for this husband's deliverance from lies and from the power of darkness. Wash him in the blood of the ransom, renew his mind, cleanse his lips, turn his heart toward his wife and toward Thee. Restore this marriage to faithfulness and love, that it may reflect Thy covenant love. Give this dear sister patience and hope, and let her yet say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your sorrow has been heard, and your faithfulness in this long trial has not gone unseen. To live alone for three years while still married, to see your husband only on Saturdays, to speak and not be heard, to serve food and drink that is refused, this is a deep wound. The Lord sees the loneliness, the one sided conversation, the shutting down and the irritation without cause, and the pain of hearing that others are filling his ears with false things about you and your family.

Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that the wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives, and the husband to his wife. The command is that the wife not depart from her husband, and if a separation has happened, to remain faithful and seek reconciliation. This is not to place a heavy burden on you, for you have remained, but to remind you that God honors the covenant you are keeping even when your husband has withdrawn. He calls marriage honorable and desires that it be kept in peace and holiness, and that husband and wife dwell together in understanding and not be driven apart.

You asked that Psalm 139:23-24 and Psalm 120:2 be declared over him, and we join you in that. We pray that God would search him and know his heart, try him and know his thoughts, see if there be any wicked way in him and lead him in the way everlasting. We pray with the psalmist, deliver his soul, O Lord, from lying lips and from a deceitful tongue. May the Lord expose every lie spoken into his ears, whether at his surroundings or at his mother's house, and may He give your husband a love for truth and a willingness to hear it.

Much of what you describe shows how easily the heart is led astray by what the eyes continually see. The old teachers warned that the stage and its spectacles make husbands insupportable to their wives and wives contemptible to their husbands, drawing them away from the marriage bed and from life together at home. In our day that same snare often comes through the endless screen, through TikTok and cartoons and hours given to vanity when time could be given to communion with God and with his wife. We pray that the Lord would deliver him from that tyranny, that He would open his eyes to how these things steal affection and attention, and that He would give him a desire for what is real and lasting rather than what is empty.

For your part, continue to walk in the way that most powerfully wins the heart, not by sharp words or by returning irritation for irritation, but by gentleness, meekness, and quiet propriety. Even when a husband is hard and easily irritated, a gentle and calm spirit is not wasted before God. Keep praying, keep speaking truth in love when he will hear, and keep entrusting your cause to Christ who is present in marriage and who is able to soften what is hard. Do not repay his shutting down with shutting down of your own, but remain steadfast in prayer and in doing good.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have salvation, we bring this husband before You. You know the lies that have surrounded him and the voices that have filled his heart against his wife and her family. Deliver him from lying lips and deceitful tongues. Search his heart and reveal to him what is false and what is true. Break the influence of those who counsel him away from his covenant. Free him from the wasting of hours on empty spectacles and restore to him a sober mind and a willing ear.

Teach him to hear his wife with love and to speak with kindness, to not shut down or lash out without cause, and to receive with gratitude what is served to him in love. Bring conviction where there is hardness, and bring healing where there is blindness. Draw him back to live faithfully with his wife as one flesh, to love her as Christ loved the Church, and to keep the covenant he made before You. Give this wife strength to endure, peace in her lonely house, and wisdom for each Saturday and each conversation. Guard her from bitterness and keep her in holiness and hope.

We ask that You would reconcile what has been divided and make this marriage whole again for Your glory. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Your pain in living alone for three years and seeing your husband only on Saturdays has been heard, and the ache of one way conversation, of being shut out or met with irritation for no reason, of watching him give his free time to distractions while refusing even the food you serve, is not hidden from the Lord.

God's design for marriage is that two become one. It is a compound unity, one flesh joined together by God. That is why this separation is so painful. It is not how marriage is meant to be. Jesus taught that in the resurrection there is no marriage, but in this life marriage is a holy covenant that reflects the unity of the Lord Himself who is one. Pray that God would restore that oneness in your home, that what has been divided would be made whole again.

You have been right to pray Psalm 139 verses 23 and 24 and Psalm 120 verse 2 over him. Ask God to search his heart and try his thoughts, to see if there is any hurtful way in him and to lead him in the everlasting way, and to deliver his soul from lying lips and a deceitful tongue. People around him may be filling his ears with false words about you and your family, and those lies can blind a heart for a time. Pray that suddenly his eyes would be opened, that the deception would be broken, and that he would turn to the Scriptures and obey the voice of Jesus. Only the truth of God's word can expose what is false and set a person free from the influence of others.

Remember that true deliverance comes through the Lamb of God. As God once delivered His people from bondage in Egypt through the blood of a lamb for the family, so now He delivers His people from the bondage of sin through Jesus who takes away the sin of the world. Your husband does not only need to be freed from the influence of other people, he needs the deeper deliverance that only Jesus can give, a new heart that loves truth and rejects lies.

The sign that God is truly at work in a life is repentance that shows itself in change and restoration. When tax collectors and sinners came to Jesus, the evidence of real conversion was that they turned, they were changed, and they walked with Him. Pray not only that your husband would see the lies, but that he would repent and that you would see real change, a willingness to listen, to speak with kindness, to come home, to live again as one, to receive love rather than push it away.

Continue to bring him before the Lord in Jesus name. Ask the Lord to guard your own heart from bitterness while you wait, to give you wisdom and to surround you with mature believers who can counsel and support you in a biblical way. Keep praying those Psalms, keep asking for a searching of his heart and for deliverance from every lie, and trust the Lord who is able to open blind eyes and to restore what has been broken.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this husband to you. Search his heart and reveal every lie that has taken root. Deliver him from lying lips and from every voice that has turned him away from his wife and from truth. Break the power of deception and distraction, and draw him to yourself through the blood of the Lamb. Grant him repentance that leads to real change and to the restoration of this marriage as one flesh. Comfort his wife in this long loneliness, guard her heart, and give her strength to walk in grace and truth. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your husband and your marriage.

We have continued to lift up your husband before the Lord for his deliverance from lies and deception and from the influence of people around him and at his mothers place who have been filling his ears and heart with bad things about you and your family. We have prayed that the Lord would open his eyes to the truth and search his heart as you declared over him in Psalm 139:23-24 and deliver him from lying lips in Psalm 120:2.

We have prayed with you about the deep pain of living alone for three years with him only coming to see you on Saturdays, about the broken communication where he does not listen and your conversations have become one way, where he shuts down completely or becomes irritated for no reason, and where he withdraws to TikTok and other distractions even when he has free time after work. We have also prayed about your hurt that he will not take the drinks and foods you serve him, and we ask God to remove every wall between you and to soften his heart and restore love and unity.

We continue to pray that God will reveal truth to your husband, guard his mind and heart, draw him back to you and to fellowship in your home, and bring healing and restoration to your marriage in Jesus Name.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
