Deliver me from constant fights in family, sexual sins, unemployment, financial struggle, lack of hope, fear, anxiety

Shivani India

Disciple of Prayer
You have no idea how supportive this community has been for me especially during this tough time.

May God bless you all ….

I brought up in a Hindu family & I was a believer in Hindu Gods

Fortunately, I accepted Jesus Christ on 15th March, 2023 & surrendered my life… Jesus chose me.

Now I would love to share some stuff about my life which I didn’t share with anyone but we all know we are here to repent.

So yes I am not married yet but I had involved with 5 men (Hindu) & 1 (Muslim) guy in sexual sin …

I didn’t know anything about this but yes it destroyed my life in many ways and I didn’t know the reason until this point.

I am also having dreams where men & women get involved with me physically and I respond with willingness.

I know this is some terrible stuff & I want to get rid of it.

I am sorry I have made these mistakes as I was going through a tough time so this temporary stuff was my escape plan.

But I have already started facing severe consequences of whatever I have done… when I say severe, super severe

I am unemployed since May 2024 …. I am getting rejected with my resumes, forget about interviews.

I am struggling financially… as I have no source of income due to no job

I have constant fights in my family

My parents are wanting me to get married via arranged marriage but I am not feeling ready, they have started pressurizing so that stress is different.

I also have the most broken relationship with my mom, she is very controlling, we don’t get along so that has caused isolation from my parents. She always wants to change me and live according to her way.

If I don’t, she fights, she cries, she shouts, she gets angry, she gets shut down, she punishes

She has come from a traumatic family, she also doesn’t have a great relationship with her mother.

I can feel her pain but that doesn’t mean she also treats me like that just because she didn’t receive any love, stability, significance, certainty

My mom faced so many challenges in her childhood, her parents always fought, lack of money.

Also, I am in love with one guy, deep down I also knew he loves me … suddenly he decided to part his ways with me and told me not to contact him ever. He blocked me everywhere.

All men who came into a relationship with me, either they parted ways or I did.

Why this pattern! One time we can understand but why always separation leaving me alone and broken.

I would be 28 years old on 2 May, I want a relationship, marriage, someone who would propose to me, be with me, spend time with me and I want these things when I am young.

Pray for me to deliver me all these things, restore my relationship with that person, change his heart, my heart so we put God first.

Pray for me to get a job in a well-reputed company with an exceptional pay - hybrid or remote work mode in Pune city.

Bless me financially, ask the Lord to write my love story.

Please I am going through a super challenging time, it’s affecting me mentally, physically & emotionally.

I would pray, read the Bible, put God first, surrender ….

Please be with me and pray as much as possible

And because things are not happening in my life, I am having uncontrollable anxiety & fear (what’s next, what will happen, how can I live, etc).

We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden before the throne of grace. Your honesty and repentance are a beautiful testament to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life, and we rejoice that Jesus chose you on that blessed day in March 2023. You are not alone in this battle—we war alongside you in the name of Jesus, who is mighty to save and restore.

First, we must address the sexual sin that has entangled you. The Word of God is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The dreams you describe are not from the Lord but are attacks from the enemy, who seeks to keep you bound in shame and guilt. We rebuke these unclean spirits in Jesus’ name and command them to flee! You are washed clean by the blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The past does not define you—Jesus does. His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has taken hold of you. The Lord did not give you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). When the enemy whispers lies about your future, declare the truth: *"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11). Your worth is not found in your job, your relationships, or your family’s approval—it is found in Christ alone. We pray that you would fix your eyes on Him, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Regarding your family, we lift up your mother before the Lord. It is clear she carries deep wounds from her own past, and while this does not excuse her behavior, it helps us pray with compassion. We ask the Lord to heal her heart and soften it toward you. *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1). We pray you would have the wisdom to respond to her with grace, even when she is difficult, and that the Lord would restore your relationship. However, we also encourage you to set boundaries where necessary, for even Jesus did not allow others to control Him (Matthew 12:46-50). You are not responsible for her emotions, but you are responsible for your own walk with Christ.

As for marriage, we must address your request with biblical truth. The pattern of broken relationships in your life is not a coincidence—it is a spiritual attack. The enemy wants to isolate you and keep you from the godly marriage the Lord has for you. But we declare that this pattern is broken in Jesus’ name! You are not called to pursue a relationship for the sake of companionship or to escape loneliness. You are called to seek first the kingdom of God, and He will add all these things to you (Matthew 6:33). We pray that the Lord would bring a godly man into your life—one who loves Jesus more than he loves you, who will lead you closer to Christ, and who will cherish you as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Until then, we encourage you to guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23) and trust in the Lord’s timing.

We do not pray for the restoration of the relationship with the man who blocked you. Why? Because the Lord may be protecting you from further heartache. If this man is not willing to honor God in his relationship with you, then he is not the one the Lord has for you. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray instead that the Lord would remove any lingering attachment to this man from your heart and replace it with His perfect peace.

For your unemployment and financial struggles, we stand on the promise that the Lord is your provider. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We pray that doors would open for you in Pune—positions that honor God and provide for your needs. But we also encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. Sometimes He allows us to go through seasons of lack to draw us closer to Him. Trust in His provision, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our sister. We thank You for saving her and for the work You are doing in her life. Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of sexual sin that has bound her. Cleanse her mind, body, and spirit, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit. We rebuke every unclean spirit that seeks to torment her in her dreams, and we declare that she is a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Father, we pray for her family. Heal the brokenness between her and her mother. Give her the strength to love her mother as You have loved her, even when it is difficult. Soften hearts, Lord, and restore what has been broken.

We ask that You would provide for her financially. Open doors for employment that align with Your will, and give her favor with those who can help her. Remove the spirit of fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect peace (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we pray for her future marriage. Prepare her heart to be a godly wife, and prepare a godly man to be her husband. Remove any ungodly attachments from her heart, and help her to trust in Your timing. Write her love story, Lord, and let it bring glory to Your name.

Finally, we ask that You would fill her with hope. Remind her daily that You are with her, that You love her, and that You have a plan for her life. Strengthen her faith, and help her to surrender every area of her life to You.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

Dear sister, we hear your cry and we're here for you. We've been praying for you since we first read your post. We're so glad to see your honesty and repentance. It's a beautiful testament to God's work in your life, and we rejoice that Jesus chose you on that blessed day in March 2023.

First, let's address your constant fights at home. We pray that God would bring peace and unity to your family. Help them to communicate with love and respect, as they are all children of God. We also pray that your parents would understand and support your desire to live a Godly life.

Next, regarding your sexual sins and dreams, we know that God is faithful to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. We pray that you would turn away from these sins and seek God's face. We also pray that God would give you the strength to resist temptations and to live a pure life. We declare that you are free from the power of sin and shame, and that you are a new creation in Christ.

We're also interceding for your unemployment and financial struggles. We pray that God would open doors for you in ###, and that you would find a job that honors Him and provides for your needs. We trust that God is your provider, and that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Lastly, we pray for your relationships. We ask God to heal your broken relationship with your mother. Help her to understand and support you, and give you the strength to love her as God loves you. We also pray that God would bring a godly man into your life, who loves Jesus more than he loves you, and who will lead you closer to Christ. Until then, we encourage you to guard your heart and trust in God's timing.

We're here for you, sister. We're praying for you and believing God for your breakthrough. Keep trusting in Him, and remember that He is with you always.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
