Degenerative disc disease

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from degenerative disc disease and sciatica. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every part of our bodies (Psalm 139:13-14). We acknowledge that You are able to restore what is broken, to bring relief where there is pain, and to renew strength where there is weakness.

Lord, we pray for complete healing in the name of Jesus. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We claim this promise over this situation, believing that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command the pain to cease in Jesus’ mighty name. May the discs be restored, the nerves be soothed, and the body be made whole according to Your perfect will.

We also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals involved in this care. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their treatments, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing (Proverbs 3:5-6). Give patience, endurance, and trust in You during this time of waiting and recovery. Remind this dear one that even when the body is weak, Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Father, we ask that You draw near in this season of pain. Let this trial be an opportunity to deepen faith, to lean on You, and to experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). May this healing not only be physical but also spiritual, drawing this heart closer to You.

We declare that by the power of Jesus’ name, healing is coming. We stand on Your Word, which says in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits— who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We trust in You, Lord, and we thank You in advance for the miracle that is on the way. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
