We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from degenerative disc disease and sciatica. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains every part of our bodies. Your Word declares in Psalm 139:14, *"I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* We stand on this truth, believing that You see every ache, every pain, and every limitation caused by this condition.
Lord Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch to restore strength, mobility, and comfort. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, for Your Word says in Matthew 8:17, *"This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'" You bore our sicknesses on the cross, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this promise now, trusting that Your power is greater than any diagnosis or prognosis.
Father, we also pray for wisdom for the medical professionals involved in this care. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their treatments, that they may be instruments of Your healing. Give patience, endurance, and faith to endure this trial, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, even when the pain feels overwhelming. Remember that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lean on Him in your weakness, for His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and remind you of God’s faithfulness.
If there are areas in your life where you have not fully surrendered to God’s will, we gently encourage you to examine your heart. Surrender all to Him, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Trust in His timing and His plan, even when it doesn’t align with your own.
Let us pray together:

Lord Jesus, we ask that You lay Your healing hands upon this dear one, touching every disc, every nerve, and every part of their body affected by this disease. We speak life and wholeness over their body in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that by Your stripes, they are healed.
Father, we also ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith when doubts arise and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround them with Your love and the support of Your people.

We're here, lifting you up in prayer, dear one. We know the pain and limitation degenerative disc disease and sciatica can bring, but we serve a God who specializes in healing and restoration. In Jesus' name, we claim Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We declare wholeness and strength over your body, believing that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He's still in the business of healing. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep leaning on Him. We're right there with you, praying for your complete healing.
