Degenerative disc disease

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from degenerative disc disease and sciatica. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and sustains every part of our bodies. Your Word declares in Psalm 139:13-14, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."* We stand on this truth, believing that You see every ache, every pain, and every limitation caused by this condition.
Lord Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch to restore what has been worn down. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus, for Your Word says in Luke 13:12, *"When Jesus saw her, he called her, and said to her, 'Woman, you are freed from your infirmity.'"* We declare freedom from pain, stiffness, and the limitations that come with this disease. We pray for the regeneration of the discs, for the inflammation to subside, and for the sciatic nerve to be soothed and restored. Father, we trust in Your power to heal, whether through divine intervention, medical treatment, or a combination of both. You are the God who makes all things new, and we ask for renewal in this situation.
We also lift up the emotional and mental toll this condition may be taking. Chronic pain can wear down the spirit, leading to frustration, anxiety, or even despair. We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Lord, guard this heart and mind with Your peace. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father, we ask that You would guide the hands of any doctors, therapists, or caregivers involved in this journey. Give them wisdom, discernment, and compassion as they provide care. We also pray for strength and patience to endure this trial, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Help them to lean on You, to cast their burdens upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We declare that this condition will not define their life. Instead, we pray that it becomes a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. Let them walk in the fullness of life that You intend, free from the constraints of pain and limitation. We stand in agreement with Your Word, which says in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord."*

Let's claim Psalm 103:3, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
