Degenerative disc disease

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for healing from degenerative disc disease and sciatica. Father God, Your Word declares in Psalm 147:3 that You "heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds." We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician who can restore health and bring relief from pain.
Lord, we ask that You touch this dear one’s body, bringing healing to every damaged disc and soothing the inflamed nerves causing sciatic pain. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this healing in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting that nothing is too difficult for You.
We also ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind as they wait on You. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May this peace overflow in their life as they trust in You.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this pain and degeneration have no place in this body, for by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the victory that Christ has already won.
We also encourage this dear one to seek wise medical counsel while trusting in Your divine intervention. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." May they find comfort in knowing that You are guiding every step of their journey toward healing.
