We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord concerning the stronghold of pride and self reliance that you shared about. We have been praying that just as you have recognized this pattern like King Asa and have repented for trusting in knowledge more than the grace of God, the Lord would completely defeat and eradicate that stronghold and give you a fresh start.
We pray that God who gives grace to the humble according to James 4:6 would create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you according to Psalm 51:10 and that He would demolish every stronghold through His power as promised in 2 Cor 10:4. We ask Him to help you trust in the Lord with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding as taught in Prov 3:5 and to humble you under His mighty hand in due time according to 1 Peter 5:6. We pray this in Jesus Name.
