Deep depression

Humble Servant of All
Dear lord my god .. I don't have kids, I don't have house.. I don't have saving. Ill go in to deep depression if I don't succeed in the current project. My product is the best compared to all.. but my luck and blessings is less... im having sad time.. I'll suicide if this is the case..

We hear the deep pain and despair in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The weight of depression can feel unbearable, especially when coupled with financial struggles, loneliness, and the fear of failure. But we want to remind you that your life is precious to God—so precious that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you so that you might have hope, purpose, and eternal life (John 3:16). You are not alone, and your worth is not defined by your circumstances, your possessions, or even your success. Your worth is found in Christ alone.

First, we must address the mention of suicide with urgency and love. Scripture tells us that life is a gift from God, and only He has the authority to give and take it (Job 1:21). To take your own life is to reject His sovereignty and the purpose He has for you. We implore you, as brothers and sisters in Christ, to cling to Him in this moment. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life—abundant life, even in the midst of suffering. If you are feeling this way, please reach out to someone you trust or a biblical counselor immediately. You do not have to carry this burden alone.

We also notice that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Salvation is found in confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step toward true peace and hope.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother who is struggling with deep depression, fear, and despair. Lord, we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would wrap Your arms around him right now, reminding him that he is never alone because You are with him. Father, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and depression in the name of Jesus. We declare that the enemy has no hold over his life, for he belongs to You, and You have plans for him—plans for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we ask that You would provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give him wisdom and favor in his current project, but more than that, give him a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Father, we pray that You would surround him with godly community—people who will speak life into him, pray for him, and walk alongside him in this season. Remind him that his identity is found in Christ, not in his success, his possessions, or the approval of others.

We also pray for healing in his heart. Lord, if there is any bitterness, unforgiveness, or unconfessed sin, we ask that You would reveal it to him and lead him to repentance. Cleanse him and renew his mind (Romans 12:2). Fill him with Your joy, which is his strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and help him to fix his eyes on You, the author and perfecter of his faith (Hebrews 12:2). We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37), and we stand in agreement with him for breakthrough, restoration, and hope.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Friend, we want to encourage you with a few truths from Scripture. First, God sees you. He knows the depths of your pain, and He has not forgotten you. In Psalm 56:8, David writes, *"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book."* God collects your tears—He is intimately acquainted with your suffering, and He cares deeply.

Second, your circumstances do not define you. In 2 Corinthians 4:17-18, Paul writes, *"For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and everlasting weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."* This season of struggle is temporary, but the hope we have in Christ is eternal. Keep your eyes on Him, not on your circumstances.

Third, God is your provider. You mentioned not having savings, a house, or children, and we understand how overwhelming that can feel. But God promises to meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). He is not limited by your bank account or your current situation. Trust Him to provide in ways you cannot yet see.

Regarding your project, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom and guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* It is not about luck or blessings in the worldly sense—it is about aligning your heart and your work with God’s will. Ask Him to show you if there are any areas where you need to adjust your approach, your motives, or your expectations. And remember, even if this project does not succeed as you hope, God can use it for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

Lastly, we want to gently address the pride we sense in your words about your product being "the best." While confidence in your work is important, we must be careful not to place our identity or our worth in our achievements. Proverbs 16:18 warns, *"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."* Instead, humbly submit your work to the Lord and ask Him to use it for His purposes. True success is found in faithfulness to Him, not in the approval of others or the outcome of a single project.

Friend, we urge you to take one step at a time. Seek the Lord in prayer daily. Spend time in His Word, even if it is just a few verses at a time. Surround yourself with believers who can encourage you and pray with you. And if you are not already part of a local church, we strongly encourage you to find one where you can grow in your faith and be supported by the body of Christ. You do not have to walk this road alone.

If you are feeling overwhelmed by suicidal thoughts, please reach out to a trusted friend, pastor, or biblical counselor immediately. You can also call a helpline in your area to speak with someone who can help. Your life matters, and God has a purpose for you. Do not let the enemy convince you otherwise.

We will continue to pray for you, and we believe that God is at work in your life, even in the midst of this storm. Hold on to Him, and remember that His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are loved, you are valued, and you are not forgotten.

Dear friend, we're here with you in this moment, feeling the weight of your despair. It's okay to not be okay, and it's okay to ask for help. We want you to know that you're not alone, and your life is precious to us and to God.

We're going to pray for you, just as we've been doing, but we also want to remind you of something Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is inviting you to come to Him, to rest in Him, and to learn from Him. He promises rest for your soul, which is exactly what you need right now.

We also want to encourage you with a verse from Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain, and He wants to heal you. He wants to bind up your wounds and give you comfort. Trust in Him, and allow His healing power to work in your life.

Please, keep reaching out to us and to others. Let's walk through this together. You are loved, valued, and never alone. Keep holding on, one moment at a time. We believe in you, and we believe in the power of God to heal and restore you.
