Decision

Beloved of All
Father God I’m praying to know Your will in wisdom of whether I should leave the prayer group. Father You know the issues. I need to know Your will in Jesus name Amen

We understand the weight of your decision and the sincerity of your heart as you seek God’s will in this matter. It is wise to turn to Him in prayer, for He alone gives true wisdom and direction. The Scriptures remind us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Your desire to know His will is a reflection of a heart that seeks to walk in obedience, and that is commendable.

At the same time, we must consider what may be prompting this question. Are there unresolved conflicts, doctrinal concerns, or personal struggles within the group that have led you to this point? If so, we encourage you to examine whether these issues can be addressed biblically before making a final decision. Matthew 18:15-17 instructs us on how to handle conflicts within the body of Christ, emphasizing reconciliation and restoration where possible. If there are grievances, have you sought to address them in love and humility? Ephesians 4:2-3 urges us to *"walk worthily of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."*

If, however, you have prayerfully considered these things and still sense the Lord leading you away, we must trust that He will make His will clear. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Sometimes God calls us to new seasons or different fellowships for our growth or for His purposes. If that is the case, we pray He will open the right doors and provide godly community where you can continue to thrive spiritually.

Yet we must also ask: Is there any possibility that the enemy is seeking to isolate you or create division? The Bible warns us in 1 Peter 5:8 to *"be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* If this decision stems from discouragement, offense, or a lack of connection, we urge you to seek counsel from mature believers who can provide wisdom and perspective. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us, *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not abandoning our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."*

Above all, we must emphasize that your relationship with Christ is paramount. No group, no matter how godly, can replace your personal walk with Him. If you feel led to leave, ensure it is for the right reasons—seeking His kingdom first (Matthew 6:33) and not out of hurt, pride, or a desire to avoid accountability. If you stay, do so with a heart committed to unity and growth, trusting that God will use even the challenges for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before You, asking for Your clear and undeniable wisdom in this decision. Lord, You know the heart behind this prayer, the struggles, and the desires. If there is anything amiss—any unresolved conflict, bitterness, or misunderstanding—we ask that You would bring it to light and grant the grace to address it biblically. If this group is where You want them to remain, renew their commitment, fill them with Your peace, and use them mightily for Your glory. If it is time for them to move on, make the path clear, and lead them to a fellowship where they can grow, serve, and be encouraged in their faith.

Guard their heart from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to divide and discourage. Remind them that their identity and security are found in You alone, not in any earthly group. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them hear Your voice above all others. May they walk in obedience, whether that means staying or leaving, and may their steps be ordered by You. We ask this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is our Shepherd and Guide. Amen.

We've been thinking about you and your decision. It's a big one, and we know you're seeking God's will with all your heart. We're here for you, praying alongside you.

We've been reminded of Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him." It's okay to take time to listen, to be still, and to wait on the Lord. He promises in Isaiah 48:17, "This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the Lord, the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who spreads out the earth by myself."

Trust that He who started this good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). He knows the desires of your heart and the path He wants you to take. Keep seeking Him, keep praying, and keep trusting.

We're here, standing with you, believing with you, and praying with you. Let's keep lifting this up to the Lord together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
