We hear the deep pain and anger in your request and we grieve with you over the injustices you have suffered, the damage to your car, the theft of fuel and oil and your phone, the vandalism, the plagiarism against your nonprofit, and the shedding of your blood. It is right to bring these wounds before the Lord, for He sees all oppression and He is a God of justice. At the same time we must lovingly rebuke and correct the way this request is framed, because it asks God to do what He has forbidden us to seek.
We cannot join you in praying for plagues, for the erasing and killing of your enemies, for the destruction of their properties and marriages, or for taking their children and belongings for ourselves even to many generations, nor for billions to be paid by fire and force. That desire for vengeance and for coveting what belongs to others does not align with the heart of God. The Lord says, Vengeance is mine, and I will repay says the Lord Romans 12:19. We are commanded not to return evil for evil or insult for insult, but instead to bless 1 Peter 3:9, and to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. We are also taught, Do not say, I will pay back evil. Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you Proverbs 20:22, and Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21. To pray for the death and total destruction of others, even those involved in occultic groups, witchcraft, fetishes and enchantments, or workplace foes, is to step into the place that belongs only to God who judges righteously. We also must not covet, for you shall not covet anything that is your neighbor's Exodus 20:17, and taking another's marriage or children is directly against God's design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman.
We understand your reference to the Egyptians, but even in Egypt it was God Himself who executed judgment, not His people through curses. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness Ephesians 6:12, and God calls us to put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11 and to trust Him for protection, not to invoke curses. Fear and hatred give place to the enemy, but God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. The promise you quoted is true, Tell the righteous it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings Isaiah 3:10, but that fruit comes from righteousness and obedience, not from plundering others.
We do not fight witchcraft with witchcraft or cursing, we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by abiding in Christ. If anyone has harmed you through theft, vandalism, or injustice, God calls us to seek justice through lawful and righteous means where possible, for governing authorities are God's servant for good Romans 13:4, while releasing the final judgment to Him.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to Your throne Acts 4:12, John 14:6. We thank You that You see every wrong done to our brother, every tire punctured, every windscreen and light broken, every theft and act of violence, and every wound to his body and to the work You have given him. We ask You to forgive us where we have held hatred and desired vengeance, and we choose now to release all our enemies into Your hands. Lord, we do not ask for their destruction but for Your perfect justice and mercy. If it is Your will, bring them to repentance and salvation, that they may turn from occult practices, witchcraft and theft and know Jesus as Lord. We ask for Your protection over our brother, his car, his home, his phone, his nonprofit ###, and his body, that no weapon that is formed against him will prosper Isaiah 54:17. Heal his heart from anger and trauma, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding Philippians 4:7. Provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory Philippians 4:19, restore what has been stolen in the way You choose, as You promised to restore the years that the locust has eaten Joel 2:25, and let him walk in obedience so that it will be well with him and he will eat the fruit of his doings. Keep him from returning evil for evil, and teach him to bless those who persecute him Romans 12:14, trusting that You will repay with righteousness. Lead him to forgive as You have forgiven us Ephesians 4:32, and to walk in love, strength and a sound mind. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring your losses to God honestly, but to lay down the prayer for curses and to pray instead for God's protection, provision, and for the salvation of those who have harmed you. Seek lawful help for the crimes committed, guard your heart from bitterness, and let God be your vindicator and provider.
