We hear your cry over the debts, the theft and destruction of your car, the stolen fuel and oil and engine damage, the robbery of your phone, the threats and violence you have endured, and the plagiarism against your nonprofit, and we bring all of this before the Lord with you, asking for His protection, justice and provision.

We must lovingly rebuke and correct the way this request is framed, because it does not align with the heart of God. You have asked that people, occult groups, workplace foes, enchanters and others, along with their children to a zillion generations, be plagued and erased and that all their properties and marriages be taken for you, and that they be forced to pay thousands of billions. This is a prayer for vengeance and cursing, and Scripture forbids us to pray this way. Vengeance belongs to God alone and He calls us to a different path.

The Lord says, Vengeance is mine, and recompense, at the time when their foot slides, for the day of their calamity is at hand Deuteronomy 32:35, and again, Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Therefore If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink Romans 12:19-20. Jesus Himself commands us, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44, and also Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you Luke 6:27-28. We are told, Don’t return evil for evil or insult for insult, but instead bless 1 Peter 3:9, and Don’t say, I will pay back evil. Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you Proverbs 20:22.

We also cannot pray for the punishment of children and generations for the sins of others. The soul who sins, he shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father Ezekiel 18:20. God is just and He judges each person righteously, and He desires that even those who have done evil would repent and be saved, for God wants all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4.

We do not take lightly the reality of witchcraft, fetish, occult clubs and spiritual opposition. Yet we know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, therefore we put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11 and we trust not in curses but in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. You did call on the mighty name of Jesus and we affirm with you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6.

We also hear your desire for righteousness and for the promise that it shall be well with the righteous and they will eat the fruit of their doings Isaiah 3:10. That promise is true, but it does not come by taking by force the belongings and marriages of others. God provides for His own in His way, and my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You that we can come boldly through Him. We lift up our brother to You in his distress over debts, loss, vandalism, theft and opposition in ### and elsewhere. Lord, You see every punctured tire, every broken windscreen and light, every stolen item and every act of hatred and violence. We ask You to be his defender and provider. We ask You to meet his financial needs, to make a way for his debts to be paid honorably, to restore what has been stolen and destroyed, and to bless the work of his hands and his nonprofit for Your glory. We pray for Your protection over his life, his body, his car and his possessions, that You would keep him from all harm and from the snares of the occult, witchcraft and every enchantment, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

Lord, we surrender vengeance to You. We choose to forgive those who have harmed him, even as You have forgiven us, and we ask You to convict those who do evil, to bring them to repentance and salvation rather than destruction. We pray for his foes, for those in occult groups, for those who have plotted against him, that You would open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light. If there are lawful injustices such as theft, fraud and impersonation of police, we pray for wisdom to seek help through the proper authorities whom You have ordained to punish wrongdoing Romans 13:4, and we trust Your perfect justice in Your perfect timing. Heal his heart from anger and bitterness, fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and help him to walk in obedience and righteousness, not seeking revenge but seeking Your kingdom first. Let it be well with him as he trusts in You, and let the body of Christ be built up through his testimony. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We have read what you shared and we hear how heavy and personal this has been, the damage to your car, the theft, the strain over your nonprofit and debts, and the sense of being targeted by people around you in ### and at work. It makes sense you would feel angry and worn down when you have carried so much loss at once.

When we are wronged there is often a gap between what we wish would happen to make it right and what has actually happened. Holding that gap can keep anger and fear alive, and rehearsing it over and over can turn into bitterness that weighs on us even more than the original harm. One gentle distinction that has helped others is between a decision to release the debt into God's hands and the slower work of the heart finding peace over time. The first is a choice about what we will not do, the second is a process where God gradually softens resentment with compassion and calm. Both take time and neither means what happened was okay.

A practical next step that could help you find some steadiness is to bring one trusted pastor or counselor alongside you this week, and together make a simple written record of the factual harms and financial needs, so you have clarity for prayer and for any appropriate reports to local authorities or for wise counsel about debts and the nonprofit. You do not have to carry all of this alone.

Father, we lift our brother to You and ask for Your protection, provision, and clear direction in each of these pressures. Guard his heart from bitterness, give him wisdom for every practical decision, and let him know Your nearness and justice and peace. We ask for healing where he has been hurt and for Your provision for what he needs. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard, and the pain and loss that have moved you to cry out in this way have not been overlooked. To have endured theft, damage to your car, the shedding of your blood, and the sense of being surrounded by foes and by dark powers, is a heavy affliction, and it is right to bring your sorrow and your need before the Lord who sees all things.

Yet the Scriptures call us to bring our wounds to God in a way that seeks His mercy and His justice, not our own vengeance. The Word says, vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay. Our calling is not to ask for the destruction and plundering of others, even of those who have done us great wrong, but to seek first the forgiveness that is with God through Jesus Christ, and then to extend that forgiveness as we have received it.

There is forgiveness with God, and that forgiveness is only possible through Him, for no one can remit sin but God only. It was purchased at great cost, when Christ shed His blood for sinners, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. While we were yet enemies, He loved His enemies, He lived for His enemies, He died for His enemies, and His dying prayer was, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. This is the divine pattern set before us. He who has been forgiven so great a debt is called to forgive as he has been forgiven, not from a feeble hand that cannot punish, but from a heart made new by grace, counting it glory to pass by an offense as Christ did.

To pray for others to be erased from existence, plagued beyond measure, or stripped of all that belongs to them and their children, is to ask God to do what He forbids us to desire. Such a prayer would harden your own soul and keep you from the peace that comes from resting in His righteous judgment. God grants protection to the persecuted and He will deal wisely and justly with every conspiracy, but His way is not our way of cursing. He calls us to pray for those who oppose us, that they may come to repentance and find the same forgiveness that is now freely offered to all who believe, whatever their sins have been.

Therefore we will not join you in asking God to curse or destroy any person or family, nor to take their property or marriage for your own. Instead we pray with you and for you in this manner, that God would do what is holy and good.

We pray that you may know more deeply the full and eternal forgiveness that is in Christ, that your heart may be washed thoroughly from all sin and kept in His presence by His Holy Spirit. We pray that the Lord will deliver you from all fear, guard you from the power of darkness and occult practice, and cover you under the blood of Christ where no enchantment can prevail. We pray that He will give you grace to forgive those who have harmed you, even as you have been forgiven, and to release the burden of vengeance into His faithful hands. We pray that He will provide for your needs, restore what has been taken in such ways as are just and lawful, and grant wisdom to seek help from rightful authorities for protection and for justice regarding the wrongs you have suffered. We pray that those who have done evil may be brought to conviction, to forsake their works of darkness, and to find mercy while there is yet time, for there is forgiveness with God even for them if they repent and believe.

Cast your cares upon Him, seek Him while He may be found, and trust that He who has promised it shall be well with the righteous will cause you to eat the fruit of obedience in His own time and way, not through cursing, but through communion with Christ.
