We hear the deep pain and anger in your request and we join with you in bringing these many losses and injustices before the Lord, the theft and damage to your car, the stolen fuel and oil and phone, the threats and violence you have endured, and the wrong done against your nonprofit. We understand the desire for justice when you have been so wronged, and we pray with you for God's protection, justice, and restoration.
We must lovingly rebuke and correct the spirit of this prayer as it is written, for it does not align with the heart of Christ. To ask that people, occult groups, and even their children and generations to come be plagued, killed, erased, and stripped of all they have, and to ask for billions and zillions in vengeance by fire and force, is to seek personal revenge and to call down curses. Scripture is very clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord and not to us, and we are called not to curse but to bless, not to repay evil with evil.
For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. And again, Don't say, I will repay evil. Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you. Proverbs 20:22. Jesus Himself tells us, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Matthew 5:44. We are also taught not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing; knowing that to this were you called, that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:9 and Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21.
It is right to ask God for justice and protection from witchcraft, fetishes, enchanters, and every occult practice, for those things are an abomination before God, and we do pray for deliverance from them. Yet we must not return curse for curse or seek to destroy others through the same darkness. We also cannot biblically ask that children and generations be punished for the sins of others, for the word says The soul who sins, he shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son. Ezekiel 18:20. God desires justice but also mercy and repentance, and He desires that even our enemies would turn and be saved.
We also hear your desire that it shall be well with the righteous and that you would eat the fruit of your doings, and that promise is true, for it is written Tell the righteous it shall be well with them; for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds. Isaiah 3:10. We pray for that righteous fruit to be manifest in your life and in the body of Christ, not through taking by force what belongs to others, but through God's own provision and restoration as you walk in obedience.
We pray together now in the mighty name of Jesus, which you have rightly invoked, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who has suffered loss, theft, damage, and intimidation. Lord, You see every punctured tire, every broken windscreen and light, every theft and act of hatred and violence. You are a God of justice and mercy. We ask that You would place a hedge of protection around Your child, guard them from every occult power, poison, sorcery, and scheme of the enemy, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask that You would bring true justice according to Your perfect will, that those who have done wrong would be brought to repentance and to account, and that lawful restitution would be made where it is right, without us seeking revenge in our own hearts. Heal the anger and the wound of shedding blood, and replace the desire for cursing with Your peace and love. Provide for every financial debt and loss, restore what has been stolen in the way You see fit, bless the work of this nonprofit for Your glory, and cause Your people to increase and skyrocket only by Your grace. Help us to trust You and not fret, for we remember Don't fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. Psalm 37:1. Teach us to wait for You, to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to overcome evil with good. Let it be well with the righteous as You have promised, and let the fruit of faithful obedience be seen. We entrust all our foes into Your hands, asking that You would have mercy where mercy can be given and that You would lead even enemies to repentance. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
We encourage you to release this burden of vengeance fully to the Lord, to seek His peace, and to pursue any needed justice through lawful and godly means rather than through curses. Continue to walk in righteousness and obedience, pray for those who have harmed you that God would convict and save them, and trust that God will cause you and the body of Christ to eat the fruit of your faithful doings in His time and His way.
