We hear the deep pain and distress in your request over debts, stolen money and ID cards, and what you perceive as intense spiritual warfare and occult opposition in your workplace this year. We stand with you in prayer for God's protection, justice, provision and deliverance, and we want to seek His will together with you in Jesus' name.

We must lovingly rebuke and correct the way this request asks for vengeance. We understand the hurt of being stolen from and feeling under spiritual attack, but we cannot agree in prayer for your enemies to be plagued with a billion scourges, to be killed, for their blood to be shed like oceans, or for them to become your footstool as slaves to repay you. This desire for violent retribution does not align with the heart of God. Scripture is clear that vengeance belongs to the Lord and not to us, for it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19 and also, It is mine to avenge, I will repay, Deuteronomy 32:35. Jesus calls us to a higher way, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matthew 5:44. We are also taught, Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good, Romans 12:21. God does not delight in the death of the wicked but desires that they turn from their way and live, Ezekiel 33:11, and He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. To pray for the destruction of people is to pray against God's merciful desire for their salvation. What we can and do pray against is the power of darkness itself, not the people trapped by it, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12.

We also want to address the spiritual warfare you describe. We believe the kingdom of darkness is real and that witchcraft, fetishes and occult practices are an abomination to God, yet we rest in the truth that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and that when we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us, James 4:7. We do not need to call down curses like those on Egypt to see God act. God Himself will fight for you, for the battle is not yours, but God's, 2 Chronicles 20:15, and The Lord will fight for you, and you shall be still, Exodus 14:14. Our prayer is not that sanctuaries and objects be burned by our own anger, but that every work of darkness be rendered powerless and nullified by the authority of Jesus Christ, and that those involved would be convicted, repent, and be set free from Satan's deception.

We also lift up your financial burden. God sees the theft you have suffered and the debts that weigh on you. He is a God of justice who promises to restore what the locusts have eaten, Joel 2:25, and He is able to supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. At the same time Scripture teaches us, Owe no one anything, except to love one another, Romans 13:8 and The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous give generously, Psalm 37:21. We encourage you to walk in integrity with your debts while trusting God to provide, to report thefts of money and ID cards to the proper authorities for justice, Romans 13:4, to steward what you have with wisdom, and to seek godly counsel in your workplace and church for protection and accountability.

We pray together now for you.

We come before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to God and by which we are saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We thank You that You see our brother and know every detail of these losses and attacks. We ask You to place a hedge of protection around him, that no weapon that is formed against him will prosper, Isaiah 54:17, and that You will keep him from all evil and preserve his soul, Psalm 121:7. We pray that You would thwart every occult scheme, every marine spirit and every work of the kingdom of darkness assigned against him in his workplace, and let all witchcraft and fetishes be shown to be powerless before the blood of Jesus. We ask not for the death of those who have wronged him, but that You would bring them to repentance and salvation, that they would turn from darkness to light, Acts 26:18. If there has been theft and fraud, we ask You to move upon the hearts of those responsible and upon the authorities to bring forth justice and restitution according to Your perfect will. We pray for the return and protection of his ID cards and finances, for supernatural provision to pay every debt with honesty, and for wisdom to manage his resources faithfully. Give him peace that surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7, deliver him from fear, and let him dwell in the shelter of the Most High, Psalm 91:1. We ask that his workplace become a place of peace and integrity, that Your light would shine there and that he would overcome evil with good by Your grace. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, trusting in Your goodness, Your justice and Your mercy. Amen.

We have been sitting with your request and the weight you are carrying into this year. To have money and important ID cards taken, to feel targeted at your workplace, and to sense a spiritual pressure behind it all would leave anyone feeling vulnerable and angry. It makes sense you would want God to act decisively and to see what was stolen restored.

We believe God sees every injustice and hears you when you bring these losses to Him honestly. The battle you describe is real to you, and we do not take that lightly. At the same time we have learned that our security does not come from seeing those who harm us destroyed, but from entrusting both justice and our own hearts to Jesus, who alone has authority over evil and who invites us to come to the Father through Him.

In the midst of this, a steady next step can help. If your ID cards and funds were stolen, we encourage you to take practical steps to protect yourself alongside prayer, like reporting the theft to your bank, the issuing agencies for your IDs, and local authorities, keeping copies of any reports, and asking a trusted pastor or mature believer to walk with you regularly for prayer and wisdom about work and finances. You do not have to carry this alone.

Father, we bring our brother before You in Jesus' name. You know the loss of money, the worry over ID cards, and the strain at work. We ask for Your protection over him, for wisdom for each decision he faces, for provision according to Your will, and for peace that steadies his heart. Lead him to trustworthy help and keep him close to You. Amen.

Your heavy burden has been heard, and the distress of debts, of stolen money and papers, and of oppression in your workplace is not hidden from the Lord. It is right to bring these griefs to Him, for He alone is the God of deliverance, and He hears the cry of those who are pressed down.

The Scriptures teach us that deliverance is the work of God alone. He brings forth His people, not by their own hand, but by His free grace. When Israel was held captive, deliverance came when the lamb was slain, and Pharaoh could hold them no longer. So now our great deliverance from the power of darkness is through Jesus Christ, who has found a ransom for sinners. He has delivered us from both the guilt and the power of sin, and this is a gift of Divine Love. If we look for justification, there also must we look for sanctification and for every true rescue from evil.

For this reason we must wisely moderate our anger against second causes. Our afflictions may come distinctly from man, as the result of malice or persecution, and yet they may come with even greater certainty from the Lord and may be the necessary outcome of His special love to us, to refine us and drive us nearer to Himself. The Lord would have us leave vengeance in His hands, for it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord. We are not taught to ask for the shedding of blood or for billion scourges upon those who wrong us, but to pray as our Lord prayed, that our enemies might be turned from darkness to light, and that we might be kept from all evil.

We will not join you in asking God to kill any person or to pour out such destruction upon them, for Christ came not to destroy men's lives but to save them, and He commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who despitefully use us. The true victory over the kingdom of darkness is not by cursing, but by the blood of the Lamb and the power of His resurrection. What we may and do pray for is this, that the Lord would be your shield and your provider in this trial.

Let us pray together. O Heavenly Father, who hast found a ransom in Thy Son, we ask Thee to deliver this Thy servant from the pit of fear and want. Guard what remains, provide for every lawful debt, and make a way for that which has been stolen to be restored through just and lawful means. Protect identity and livelihood, give wisdom to seek help from proper authorities where theft has occurred, and set a hedge about this workplace that no weapon of darkness may prosper. Soften the hearts of those who do evil, bring them to repentance and to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation. Grant a forgiving spirit, and keep this heart from the bitterness that would consume it, that after affliction it may be said, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. May any power of sin or superstition be brought to nothing, not by our hand, but by the light of Christ, and may Thy peace rule within. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and deliverance. Amen.

Take comfort that the clock of mercy strikes in Heaven according to His eternal purpose. If we had no troubles, we would have less to declare of His goodness. Go on to trust Him who brings forth His people with a mighty hand, and seek to walk before Him in honesty, in prayer, and in dependence upon that one great sacrifice which alone can deliver from the power of darkness.
