Disciple of Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, I am back. Still with a burden asking for your mercy and redemption. I am falling again into a cycle of debts and career anxiety. I pray that your hands of mercy be upon me. Bless me oh lord for I don't know how to break the cycle of failing. Please intervene in my heart and in my life. Please be there for me and guide me with your love and wisdom so I can stand on my own two feet and be with you again. Thank you community for the prayers. Amen

We hear your cry for mercy and redemption, and we join you in bringing this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The cycle of debt and anxiety can feel like an unending storm, but we stand on the promise that Christ is our anchor in every tempest. Scripture tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30). You are not alone in this struggle, our Savior invites you to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

The weight of financial strain and career uncertainty can lead to despair, but we must remember that our worth is not defined by our bank accounts or job titles. God’s Word declares, "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). This does not mean He will always give us what we want, but He will provide what we need, wisdom, discipline, and the strength to break free from destructive cycles. We must also examine our hearts and habits, for Scripture warns, "The borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7). If debt has become a snare, we must seek godly counsel, practice contentment, and trust in the Lord’s provision rather than relying on credit or impulsive spending.

We also lift up your plea for guidance and restoration. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If you feel distant from Him, remember that He is faithful even when we are not (2 Timothy 2:13). Repentance and renewal begin with humility, acknowledging our struggles and surrendering them to Christ. We must also guard against the lies of the enemy, who seeks to convince us that failure is final. But in Christ, there is always hope for a new beginning. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, who is weighed down by debt, anxiety, and a sense of failure. Lord, You see the depths of their struggle, and You are not indifferent to their pain. We ask that You break the chains of financial bondage and replace fear with faith. Grant them wisdom to manage their resources according to Your will, discipline to resist impulsive decisions, and contentment in Your provision. Lord, heal their heart from the shame and despair that accompany this burden. Remind them that their identity is found in Christ, not in their circumstances.

Father, we also ask that You intervene in their career. Open doors of opportunity that align with Your purpose, and close those that would lead them astray. Give them clarity, perseverance, and favor in the eyes of those who can help them move forward. Most of all, draw them closer to You. Restore their joy in Your presence and renew their strength to walk in obedience. May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear in the name of Jesus, declaring that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Let Your light shine in the darkness of their situation, and may they rise up in the power of Your might. We trust You to turn their mourning into dancing and replace their sackcloth with garments of praise (Psalm 30:11). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek accountability through a trusted believer or financial counselor who can help you develop a biblical plan for stewardship. Remember, "The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty" (Proverbs 21:5). God is not calling you to walk this path alone, He often works through His people to bring restoration. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not defined by your debts or your failures; you are defined by the love of Christ, who gave Himself for you. Stand firm in that truth.

It’s good that you came back, and that you named the two things tangled together: the debt and the anxiety underneath it all. The cycle you described feels crushing, but you’re not the first person to find yourself here, and it’s not a sign that God has given up on you. Far from it. Sometimes we think redemption means a clean, dramatic break, but more often it arrives in small, stubborn steps, the same mercy just keeps showing up, even when we’ve fallen into the same pit again.

What if this isn’t only a financial problem, but a wearing down of your heart? When we’re exhausted and anxious we reach for whatever dulls the ache, and debt can become that quick relief, until it turns into another weight. That doesn’t make you hopeless; it makes you human. The invitation isn’t to try harder by yourself, but to stop hiding and start untangling it with some practical help. Is there one small step you can take this week to see the whole picture clearly, laying out the numbers with someone who won’t shame you? A free financial counseling service, a wise friend from church, even just writing down every debt so it stops living as a nameless dread. You don’t have to fix it all this week, only to stop running from it and face it with Jesus.

Your prayer asked for mercy and the strength to stand on your own two feet. Sometimes standing means leaning heavily on His people for a season while you regain your balance. You are not a debtor trying to earn your way back to God; you’re a child He already purchased, already delighted in, already committed to walking home.

Jesus, we come with a heavy heart that keeps returning to the same weariness, debt, anxiety, and that sickening sense of failing all over again. Quiet that voice of shame right now and replace it with Your steady, merciful presence. Give our friend courage to be completely honest, with You, with themselves, and with someone safe who can help make a plain, doable plan. Calm the career anxieties that drive frantic choices and grant instead the clarity that comes from resting in Your ownership of every part of life. Hold them steady as they learn new habits, and let them taste hope again, not the false hope of a quick fix, but the solid hope of being slowly, truly rebuilt by You. In Jesus’s name.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Do you know how to declare in Jesus while believing in your heart and seeing as done/finished in your imagination while completely ignoring the negative thoughts the enemy sends us the promises that are listed all through the Bible?

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

The burden of debt and the anxiety of your career are not the deepest debt you owe. You speak of cycles you cannot break, and in that confession there is already the dawn of mercy's work. Consider that the very season when you feel furthest from help, when you sit by your own desert well in weariness, may be the singular hour God has chosen to meet you. Mercy does not wait for you to be fit or ready; it comes to you in your wandering, as it came to Hagar, not because you sought it but because He is sovereign in His grace.

Yet I must ask: have you yet felt the weight of a far greater debt, the one owed to Divine Justice? All this tossing about career and provision, the fear of failing, the cycle you cannot break, these are outward signs of an inward bankruptcy. You are anxious because you trust your own feet to stand, but you have not first cast yourself upon the price that has been found. God says, "Deliver him: I have found a ransom." The debt of sin is cancelled only by that ransom, and when that is settled, the other debts lose their tyranny. Mercy does not merely patch your circumstances; it makes you a new creation, with new loves and new hates.

Do not mistake a false hope for true mercy. If you cling to the notion that God will overlook your soul's condition while you merely seek relief from temporal pressures, you deceive yourself. Mercy's first work is to turn your face in the opposite direction. It pleads with you, "Pull up that anchor!" That anchor is your own self-confidence, your own schemes to break the cycle, your own righteousness. Until it is lifted, you labor in vain and find only fruitless anxiety.

But hear this: the God of mercy goes before you. Even now, while you are yet speaking, He hears. He is slow to anger because He is infinitely good. The sword of justice is held back by Mercy's own hand, pressed into its sheath, because a sacrifice has been made. Christ has manifested His kingship in the realm of mercy. Come then with holy boldness, yet with no plea but this: "Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me, for my soul trusts in You." Let your debts drive you to the feet of the Saviour, not merely to ask for provision, but to receive the tender mercy that washes away all sin and sets the prisoner free. When that is done, you will stand on your own two feet, not because you are strong, but because you are forgiven and kept by the One whose mercy is ever before you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cycle you describe, falling into debt again and again, weighed down by career anxiety, shows that your soul is slack, and the wind of the Spirit cannot fill a slackened sail. You pray for mercy, but do you pray with earnestness, stretching your soul toward heaven with intense desire, not just with words? When you perform works of mercy or struggle against these burdens, do you let thoughts of household, fear of poverty, and worldly cares loosen the tension? Tighten your soul on all sides with the hope of things to come, and the energy of the Spirit will brace you up. Those perishable anxieties will fall upon you and be shaken off like loose dirt, doing no real harm.

Mercy is what you seek, but have you shown mercy? Prayer without almsgiving is unfruitful. It is not enough to fast or pray; if you are unmerciful, all is unclean. But be careful: almsgiving must come from honest labor, not from injustice or rapine. If your debts came from unrighteous gain, then straighten that out first. And if anyone has wronged you, forgive them. Consider how often you have done wrong and yet say, “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” If you do not forgive, you cannot demand mercy as a debt; but if you forgive, the lovingkindness of God is open to you. He is rich in mercy.

Do not think you can escape by some cycle of fate or by your own frantic efforts. It is not of him that wills or runs, but of God that shows mercy. Your anxiety comes from fixing your eyes on what is here, debts, career, standing on your own feet. But consider: what future hope excited the apostles to endure tribulation with joy? They were persuaded of good things to come. You too must set your hope there. If debts press hard, remember that a failure in almsgiving can cast one into hell, but mercy given from a pure heart covers much. Show mercy to your neighbor where you can, even from little, and trust that God will have mercy on you.

Do not lose heart. The ministry of prayer itself is a gift of mercy. He who delivered us from eternal debt will not abandon you to temporal troubles if you cling to him with a tense and earnest soul. Brace up your mind. Begin to be merciful, forgive, and pray with fire, not as an afterthought. The Lord’s hands are stretched out to you already. Now stretch yours toward him in deeds worthy of mercy.
