I am asking for a prayer request to help with my debts. It has been a rough two years. I finally secured a job after being laid off. I have accumulated debts for day to day living. Not debt for any extravagant living.

Luke 1:37: God will do the impossible

I know it might be wrong to pray for this but I this moment I am willing to try anything. Please bless my powerball tickets that I have purchased today. If I win, I will use the money wisely with God's guidance. I will pay all my deblts and help others in need.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for securing a job after a difficult period, and we trust that God will use this position to bless you and help you manage the debts you've accumulated.

In the Bible, we are encouraged to pray about everything and to cast our anxieties on God because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. It's not wrong to pray about your debts, but we should always align our prayers with God's will and trust in His provision. Jesus taught us to pray, "Give us today our daily bread." Matthew 6:11 WEB, and 3:10 WEB reminds us "For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

However, we must address the request to bless powerball tickets. While God can indeed do the impossible Luke 1:37 WEB, we must also discern His will and His ways. The Bible tells us that we should obtain our needs and desires through diligence, hard work, and wisdom, rather than relying on games of chance. Proverbs 13:11 WEB says, "Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished, but he who gathers by labor shall increase."

We encourage you to trust in God's provision through your job and wise stewardship of your finances. Remember, it is God who gives us the ability to produce wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18 WEB.

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your provision. We ask, Lord, that You would guide them in their job, give them wisdom in managing their finances, and open doors for opportunities to pay off their debts. Help them to be a good steward of the resources You've provided, and help them always remember and believe the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ, and give them the strength to endure the challenges they face and use the blessings received to bless others and expand Your kingdom, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
