We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with an upcoming debt lawsuit hearing. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including financial struggles and legal matters. It's encouraging to see that you have brought this matter to God in prayer. As it says in Philippians 4:6 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
However, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let's address your concern. We pray that God, in His sovereignty, will guide and favor you throughout this process. We pray for the judges and lawyers involved in your case, that they may have wisdom and discernment. We ask God to bring truth to light and for His justice to prevail. If indeed the company has inflated the debt, we pray that this will be exposed and that you will not be held liable for an amount you do not owe.
However, we must also remember that God calls us to be responsible with our finances. If there is any debt that is rightfully owed, we should be prepared to pay it, as Psalm 37:21 WEB says, "The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously."
Here is our prayer for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother/sister who is facing a debt lawsuit. We ask, Lord, that You be with them during this hearing, guide their words, and give them a sound mind and spirit. We pray that if there has been any wrongdoing by the company, that it would be exposed and that justice would be served. We also pray that if there is debt owed, that You would provide the means for it to be paid and for both parties to be satisfied.
We thank You, Lord, for You are a God of truth and justice. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ's name. Amen
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, be honest and forthcoming with all information, and trust in God's will throughout this process. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tested beyond your ability to endure. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)
We will continue to pray for you as you navigate this situation.
