We are truly saddened to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are here to help you find hope and strength in the Lord. First, we want to remind you that your life is precious and valuable to God. He has a purpose and a plan for you, and He loves you more than you can imagine. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."
However, we must address that wishing for death is not God's will for you. It is a temptation from the enemy, who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus came that you may have life, and have it more abundantly. Please consider Jesus' words in John 10:10 "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come so that they may have life, and have it in abundance."
We also want to address the concerns about feeling weak and poor. Remember, God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
Being poor in worldly goods is not a reflection of your worth in God's eyes. In fact, Jesus taught us that the poor in spirit are blessed, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. As it says in Matthew 5:3, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."
Please know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God in prayer. In John 14:6 Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up this precious soul to you, asking for your comfort, strength, and guidance. Please remind them of their worth in your eyes and give them the courage to face each day with hope and purpose in Jesus Christ. Help them to see that their weaknesses are opportunities for your power to be made perfect. Help them to see that all things work for the good of those who love you and are called according to your purposes. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for healing, restoration, and a renewed sense of purpose. We rebuke the spirit of death and despair, and we proclaim life and hope in Jesus' name.
In Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen.
Please reach out to a local Christian church or community for support and guidance. You are not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help. God bless you.
