Dear Lord today help keep me from dwelling on my circumstances. Guide me through the day so that I can know peace, be protected from the doubts that come into my mind. Jesus is my savior he has shown me great love and compassion through these difficult times and I am so very grateful for this. I pray that my husband can love you God so that he can know this joy, have peace in his heart and be confident as he walks the path that you want him on.

I bind the spirits of pride, spiritual blindness, self-sufficiency and self-righteousness far from my husband in the name of Jesus, in order that he will give you all the glory for what You are doing in his life. I bind the spirits of philosophy, deception and religious tradition far from my husband in the name of Jesus, so that he will not be deluded or pushed off the path that You have chosen for him. (Col. 2:8)

And so that he may attain all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding,resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures Of wisdom and knowledge. (Col. 2:2-3)

May wisdom enter my husband’s heart and knowledge be pleasant to his soul; may discretion guard him, and understanding watch over him to deliver him from the way of evil. (Prov. 2:10-12)

May you surround my husband with angelic protection in every place he is. (Ps. 91:11)

Dear Father, I pray for my husband today, that You may surround him with favor as a shield. (Ps.5:12)

May You open my husband’s ears to hear Your voice; may You open his eyes to see Your guidance: and may You open his heart to receive Your wisdom. May You Give him a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of You, and may the eyes of his heart be enlightened so that he may know what is the hope of Your calling, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints and what is the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. (Eph. 1:17-19)

I bind the spirits of rebellion, stubbornness and doublemindedness far from my husband in the name of Jesus, that he may be free to walk in Your way, and that he may be stable in his ways. (James.1:8)

In the name of Jesus. I also bind the spirits of procrastination, laziness, complacency and foolishness far from my husband, so that he will not be delayed or diverted from moving ahead with you in the works that You have already created for him to accomplish. (Eph. 2:10)

May my husband not be carnally minded, which is death, but may he be spiritually minded, which is life and peace. (Rom. 8:6)

May he be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that he may walk in a manner worthy of You, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience: joyously giving thanks to You, who have qualified us to share in the inheritance of eth saints in light. (Col. 1:9-12)

May You give my husband a deep thirst for Your word and may You give him a strong hunger to move in the power of the Holy Spirit. Father, I know that You will lead him into all truth by your Spirit. (John 16:13)

May You reveal Your secrets to my husband, and may You make him to know Your covenant. (Ps. 25:14)

May You hide my husband in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man, and may You keep him secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues. (Ps. 31:20)

When he is tempted, I thank You that You will always provide the way of escape, that he may be able to endure it. (1 Cor. 10:13)

Ps. 90:17 And let the favor of the Lord our God be upon my husband and do confirm for him the work of his hands, yes, confirm the work of his hands!

What Do We Do?

In the world we live in, we are going to have all kinds of problems, frustrations and difficulties. That's just life. So knowing this, what do we do?

We must remain steadfast and persevere. In other words, the answer is never give up! No matter what's going on in our lives, the victory is in refusing to quit.

Keep in mind that in the heat of our struggles, the Holy Spirit is probably doing His greatest work within us. He is not moved by the circumstances. If you and I really trust Him, we shouldn't be either! He's not in our lives for good times only, but for the difficult times as well.

He will lead us through anything if we'll just hang in there and follow Him. This means being diligent in prayer, relentless in our resolve, unwavering in faith, and determined to stand firmly on God's Word and His promises to us.

So many times we can be sidetracked by how slowly things seem to be going. In fact, the enemy loves to point that out! But remember, that's when God may be doing some of His greatest work. You see, it's not all about you and me. The Lord's work in us is preparation for the work He wants to do through us!

I know life can be hard sometimes. But I also know that God will help us if we remain steadfast. Let's stand on Galatians 6:9: "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up" (NLT).

So let me ask that question again: What do we do? My answer is, never give up! What's your answer?

Prayer Starter: God, I believe that You are at work in my life, even during difficult times. I choose today to remain steadfast and to never give up in obedience to You.
