Dear Lord Jesus

My Lord,

More than ever, I stand convicted!

I told a lie to my wife and to my employer about the state of my health.

Lord, I confess this as a sin, well knowing this, I find it hard to repent.

Lord, I cry out to You for Salvation and Help!

Lord, I confess my committed and committing sins, and more than these I confess my sinful nature.

Underneath all my praying and other activities instigated by my alleged faith, there is lurking a self, that is filled with self-righteousness, self-love, self-pity, egotism and love of this world.

Lord I confess my hypocrisy and I pray for Your forgiveness, Lord please save me from myself.

I pray for Your Mercy and Grace upon this, my sinful soul!
