Dear Lord Jesus, I pray that you bring peace upon this

Dear Lord Jesus, I pray that you bring peace upon this household on this day and the entire holiday season. Especially today and Christmas Day. I pray that you give my mother and I spiritual, mental, and physical protection from the evil ways and sometimes violent behaviors of certain family members who only trust in themselves and their selfish ways that are fueled by their own arrogance. I pray that you deliver us from such evil. I pray for a holiday where my mother and I can celebrate your birth with uninterrupted joy–joy that is always robbed and taken away from us, and you as well. I pray, Lord, that no one, no one, steals our crown. I pray these things. In your name, Lord Jesus. Amen.
