Dear Lord, I pray that I can find some peace within

Dear Lord, I pray that I can find some peace within my body, soul, and heart. I constantly feel lonely and unproductive. I want to have the ability to make some close friendships with some others to be able to dine out, go to a movie, etc. I feel extra lonely with this Christmas season. My family is many, many states away and I am here alone. I will spend Christmas just as I have been lately, wishing that somethings could change and I could have some others in my life. I’ve been praying this a lot lately and I know you hear me. I’ve been also asking for your assistance in reuniting with an older friend Alan. You brought him in my life at the right time then and I hated to see him have to leave. He was able to open my eyes to what is around me and made me enjoy life even more. Please God, I just ask you to continue to hear my prayer and assist in any way you can. I love you!
