Dear Heavenly Father,

We praise you and we thank you for the institution of marriage. We lift up all marriages to you and ask that you would bring peace. We lift up marriages that are hanging on by a thread of hope and ask that you restore them. We pray for healing and reconciliation. We pray that wives and husbands would find hope in their relationships and have enough strength to hang on to them. Lord we ask that you divinely intervene, giving a peace to husbands and wives. Please protect these marriages from the snare of the enemy, guarding them in Jesus Name! AMEN!

I am in total agreement with this prayer. Besides the pain being caused to people in bad marriages and/or getting divorced, the decline of the family and the high divorce rate are hurting this society as a whole in many ways. We need to get back to God's law and to pray people will start to put God into their marriages. It's not just a man and a woman. It's a man and a woman and God.
