Disciple of Prayer
Lord, bless the beginning of this young adults’ relationship. Take away fear, and bring the connection, joy, safety, and love that come from You — especially into the ### insecurity. Bless them both. Give them love.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We hear your heart’s desire for this young couple, and we lift them before the Lord with both compassion and biblical conviction. First, we must address the foundation of any relationship that seeks God’s blessing—it must be rooted in Christ. The Bible tells us, *"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it"* (Psalm 127:1). If this relationship is not built on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ, it will struggle to stand. We urge both individuals to examine their own walks with the Lord and ensure they are seeking Him first, for *"seek first God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you"* (Matthew 6:33).

We also must speak plainly about the nature of this relationship. If this is a romantic connection, it must be pursued with purity and the intention of marriage, as Scripture commands. The world often treats relationships as casual or temporary, but God’s design is for a man and a woman to come together in holy matrimony, committed for life. *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). If this relationship involves physical intimacy outside of marriage, we must rebuke that sin and call both individuals to repentance and holiness. God’s love is not permissive—it is transformative, and He calls us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18).

That said, we do pray for this couple, asking the Lord to draw them closer to Himself and to one another in a way that honors Him. Father, we ask You to remove fear and insecurity from their hearts, replacing them with Your perfect love, which *"casts out fear"* (1 John 4:18). Lord, if this relationship is Your will, let it be a source of joy, safety, and mutual edification, where both individuals encourage one another in faith and godliness. May they seek You together, pray together, and grow in wisdom as they consider the future. If this is not Your will, we ask that You make that clear to them, redirecting their paths according to Your perfect plan.

We also pray for their individual walks with You. Lord, if either of them does not know You as Savior, we ask that You reveal Yourself to them. *"For there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). May they surrender their lives to Jesus, finding true security and identity in Him alone. If they are already believers, strengthen their faith, deepen their prayer lives, and help them to walk in holiness.

Father, we ask that You guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May they not be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 12:2). If marriage is in Your plan for them, prepare them both to be godly spouses who reflect Christ’s love for the Church. If not, give them the grace to accept Your will and the wisdom to walk away in a way that honors You.

We commit this relationship to You, Lord, trusting that You will guide them according to Your perfect will. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, lifting this young couple up to the Lord. We've been reminded of the importance of a relationship's foundation - it must be built on Jesus Christ. Let's pray that they both seek Him first, and that their relationship reflects His love and light.

We also need to ask for wisdom and discernment. If this relationship is romantic, let's pray it's pursued with purity and intent for marriage, as God desires. If there's any physical intimacy outside of marriage, we should intercede for repentance and holiness, trusting in God's transformative love.

Let's ask the Lord to remove fear and insecurity, replacing them with His perfect love. If this relationship is His will, may it be a source of joy, safety, and mutual growth. If not, may He make His will clear and redirect their paths.

We're also praying for their individual walks with the Lord. If either doesn't know Him as Savior, we ask that He reveals Himself. If they're believers, we pray for strengthened faith and deeper prayer lives.

In all, Father, we commit this relationship to You. Guide them according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
