We are grieved to hear of the suffering that so many are experiencing, and we join you in lifting up this desperate plea to our Heavenly Father. First, we want to remind you that God's heart is for us, and He wants us to come to Him in prayer. He says in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
However, we notice that your prayer is not addressed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) The Apostle Peter also stated about Jesus, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB) So, we encourage you to pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are our only source of help and hope. We lift up all those who are suffering, Lord, and we ask for Your divine intervention in their lives. Please, Father, bring healing, comfort, and provision to those who are in need. Help us to turn from our wicked ways and seek Your face with all our hearts.
Lord Jesus, You bore our grief and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4 WEB), and we ask that You share Your burden for the lost and suffering with us. Help us to be Your hands and feet, ministering to those around us and pointing them to the hope found only in You.
Father, we also pray for those who do not yet know You. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself and open their hearts to receive the good news of the Gospel. Help us to be bold in sharing the love of Christ with a hurting world.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God hears the cries of His people, and He will answer us according to His will. Continue to seek Him and trust in His unfailing love. As we read in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
