We join you in lifting up your family and loved ones before the throne of grace, standing in the gap as intercessors. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:10-18 (WEB), "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."
We pray that God takes absolute control over their lives, protecting and shielding them from the schemes of the enemy. We commit your loved ones into His hands, trusting that He will restore, heal, and bless them wholly and completely.
We are also reminded of the scriptures "Yet you are he who took me out of the womb. You made me trust when I was on my mother’s breasts. I was thrown on you from my mother’s womb. You are my God since my mother bore me. Do not be far from me, for trouble is near. For there is no one to help. Many bulls have surrounded me. Strong bulls of Bashan have encircled me. They open their mouths wide against me, lions tearing prey and roaring. I am poured out like water. All my bones are dislocated. My heart is like wax; it is melted within me. My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me down into the dust of death. For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers has enclosed me, like a lion, my hands and my feet. I can count all my bones. They look and stare at me. They divide my garments among them, and throw dice for my clothing. But do not be far off, Yahweh. You are my help: hurry to help me." Psalm 22:9-19 (WEB).
We join you in praying for a financial breakthrough for your family in Jesus' name. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." God is Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and we trust that He will meet all your needs.
Regarding your relationship, we pray that God will guide and bless it. We are reminded of Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB) "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:" God wants us to put Him at the forefront of all our desires. God's word also says we should not be a boyfriend or girlfriend, but look for a husband or wife in our courtships. We should also note that the Bible clearly teaches the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman. We are reminded in Ephesians 5:25-28 (WEB) "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself."
We pray for your education, that God will grant you wisdom, understanding, and success in your studies. We declare Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) over your life, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We join you in praying for your future marriage, that God will prepare you and your future spouse for a godly union. We pray against premature death and declare long life over your family. We claim the promise in Psalm 91:16 (WEB), "With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation."
We are reminded of the scriptures "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Therefore don’t be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure hardship for the Good News according to the power of God," 2 Timothy 1:7-8 (WEB).
We are reminded in Acts 4:12 (WEB) "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" That name is Jesus Christ.
We also note that you have stated this prayer in Jesus' name. This is a very good thing. We are reminded of the scripture "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." John 14:14 (WEB). Please remember that praying in Jesus' name does not mean that we simply add those words at the end of the prayer, but that we must actually pray in the authority of Jesus Christ. This means our prayers must align with the will of God. You have also correctly acknowledged the need for thanksgiving in all things.
Finally, as we contemplate the needs in your life and the ones around you, we are reminded of the scripture "Rejoice in hope. Endure under adversity. Continue steadfastly in prayer." Romans 12:12 (WEB). Please continue to pray to God the Father in Jesus' name and believe that your prayers will be heard and answered and that God's will shall be done.
