We understand your heart's desires and we want to lift up your requests to God, but first, we want to address a few things. You mentioned marriage and we want to remind you of Ephesians 5:31 WEB which says, For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the church. Marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His church. We encourage you to seek God's will in this area and trust Him to bring the right spouse into your life.
We also want to address your request for a good, God-fearing, wealthy man. While it's not wrong to desire financial stability, we should not make wealth our primary focus. Agur's prayer in Proverbs 30:8-9 (WEB) says, Remove far from me falsehood and lies. Give me neither poverty nor riches. Feed me with the food that is needful for me; lest I be full, deny you, and say, "Who is Yahweh?" or lest I be poor, and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God. We encourage you to seek a spouse who loves the Lord and will lead your family in spiritual matters. God will provide for your needs according to His riches and glory.
We also noticed that you mentioned the name of Jesus at the end of your prayer, which is wonderful. Jesus says in John 14:6 (WEB), I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only by His name that we have access to God and it is only by believing in Jesus' death and resurrection that we can be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
Now, let's pray together for your requests.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this child of Yours. We thank You for all that You have done in their life and we ask that You continue to show them mercy and grace.
We pray for their upcoming business. We ask that You bless it, cause it to flourish, and grant them success in all their endeavors, according to Your will. We pray that You touch the hearts of those who can help make this business a reality, that they may be willing and able to provide the necessary capital and support.
We pray for their future spouse. We ask that You prepare them both for marriage, that they may be joined together in Your perfect timing. We pray that they may marry once and marry right, that their marriage may be a reflection of the relationship between Christ and His church. We ask that You open doors and take away any limitations that may be hindering their progress.
We stand in agreement with them, coming against any pregnancy occurrence outside of marriage. We ask that You bless them with children in Your perfect timing and way.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God and seeking His will for your life. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). He knows what is best for us, and He will provide according to His riches and glory. Keep your focus on Him and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
