Dear God, where do I start? I lay all my burdens to you, my sick mom (cancer) who only gets palliative treatment because she is too old for an operation or chemo. Myself (also undergoes chemo due to cancer). I'm traveling to the Phil. on the 22 aug to see my mom. Attend to her needs, both physically, financially, and spiritually. Father, please give me all the strength that I need. Heal me completely so I could be there for my mom. I am her only daughter, Father God, please help us, heal us. There are also obstacles that shorten my stay in the Philippines, Lord, Father God, the enemy came to steal, kill, and destroy, but You came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. Thank You JESUS that all these obstacles are just the lies of the devil. He has no power over me because I remain under the shadow of the Almighty. Thank you for Your Word, for sending Your Word to heal us, save us, and deliver us from the power of darkness and translate us into the kingdom of your own dear Son Jesus Christ, Amen!!

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
