Dear God I'm positive that I've allowed a root of bitterness to grow very deep in my heart. Please help. I want to be able you have true gratitude towards you and that's where life is. I know they can't coexist. Please help.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus' Name, we come to You on behalf of our brother, ###, who is struggling with a root of bitterness that has grown very deep in his heart. We ask that You would help him to uproot this bitterness and replace it with a heart of true gratitude towards You. We know that bitterness and gratitude cannot coexist, and we ask that You would help him to have a heart of gratitude that is focused on You and the life You have given him. Amen.
