Dear God,
I don't know what this world is coming to. I see it in the school system. Children not wanting to follow the rules at school, not wanting to do any school work. It's not that these children aren't capable it's just that some of them have no respect for school and are just lazy. Parents also do not follow the rules and a lot of them do not have or take the time to teach their children right from wrong. The school system keeps on getting worse. We are bringing up children that are illiterate, and they are trying to get away with doing less as possible. Would you want any of these children to be your doctor or nurse? They are able to cheat and do whatever they want. There is no such thing as discipline in the school anymore. What is a school suspension? Children and teenagers are happy to be out of school. Why does the Pope allow this to happen in our school systems. Why doesn't the Pope and those who run our education system see that this way of schooling is not working. Math and Reading levels are way down. Children do not know how to read. Why is it that years ago there were no EA's/teacher assistants in the classroom? Yet, you were learning something at school. Now, we have the extra help and still the children are suffering. Please God I pray that we go back to the old school ways. Children are not afraid of adults now. They know nobody can touch them. They know they can get away with many things. They lack respect. There are a few good ones, but truth is our education system is getting worse by the school year.
