We hear your heart and the longing for restoration in this precious friendship. The pain of distance—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—can weigh heavily, and we stand with you before the Lord, lifting this burden in prayer.
First, let us affirm that God cares deeply about relationships, for He Himself is a God of communion—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in perfect unity. Scripture tells us, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18 WEB). This verse reminds us that while we cannot control another’s heart, we can surrender our own to the Lord, seeking His peace and wisdom in how we respond.
Yet we must also examine our hearts with honesty before God. Is there any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may be hindering this relationship—or even our own peace? The Lord calls us to *"confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed"* (James 5:16 WEB). God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You.
