Dear friends please take a few minutes to join me in lifting up my dear Christopher.
Please pray for him as this has been a long and discouraging season.
We are praying that God would provide Chris stable full time job with benefits.
We are praying for an opportunity that will allow Chris's talents and giftings to thrive and flourish in a healthy environment.
We would appreciate your continued prayers for him as he continues to look for work.
Specifically, Chris has second in person interview with the hiring manager of Macmillan Higher Education starting at 9am, Thursday, September 6th. He had a wonderful phone interview with her yesterday Tuesday afternoon. Chris has an inside contact within the company, our friend and his former neighbor, Allison.
This would be a great job for him with good benefits like base salary, bonus opportunities, health insurance, and a company car. It is an hour away though so praying they will let him telecommute.
I know he would really appreciate your prayers, as would I.
Thanks so much!
Love in Christ our Hope,
Pamela
Dear loving heavenly father,
You know all Chris's hopes and fears regarding this interview.
You are a most loving heavenly father and You understand his innermost feelings!
We are have great hope for the outcome of this interview, as well as other employment opportunities that he is pursuing.
You know our limitations Lord, but Your word says that Your strength is enough in our times of weakness.
We have confidence that Christ will give and release God's wisdom, strength and courage to Chris.
We do not know what is in store for him, but we know that his future is in the hands of Lord of Lords, Who has made us all.
So Lord, please be with Chris and help him to find grace and favor in the sight in the eyes of the hiring managers.
He need not be afraid of men because we all have the Lord Almighty beside us.
Please go before Chris and let him answer the questions boldly and intelligently.
Please remove all the unwanted fears, shame from being unemployed and worries and fill him with peace and courage.
We thank You Lord for listening to our requests and filling us with Your peace.
In Jesus' name we pray.
Amen.
