As a layperson into holistic health, I recommend that you take an adaptogenic herb -- something that helps your body adapt to stresses.
Some of the best are Ashwaghanda (about 500 mg- 2000mg per day), Reishi mushroom, (500mg, 2x/day), and/or Rhodiola. Also, taking about 2000 mg (2g) of Vitamin C in the morning with about 1000 mg MSM will support your adrenals.
You can really feel a difference with the above.
