We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's husband who is currently in the hospital battling cancer. We join you in lifting them up in prayer and seeking God's will for their lives.
Let us remind ourselves of God's promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in the midst of trials, we can trust that God is working for the good of those who love Him.
In regards to healing, we remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them." We pray for your friend's husband's healing, believing that God is able and willing to heal according to His will.
We also pray for his wife, that God would grant her supernatural strength, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. We remind her of Paul's words in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.".
Please join us in praying:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend's husband who is battling cancer. We ask, according to Your will, that You would heal him completely. We pray for his wife, that You would grant her Your supernatural strength to endure this trial. Give them both a peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your light shine through them to all those around them. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you all to be strong and courageous.
