Dear Father God,

I ask a special blessing for all of us who will be alone at Christmas without family. Sometimes we are blessed when friends invite us to holidays, but often they are busy or out of town; certainly, I understand that they cannot take care of me all the time. I have asked you for someone special in my life, and this prayer remains unanswered or delayed. Please give us strength to get through the day and let us feel your love.
