Beloved of All
Dear Father God,

As we gather together today, Lord we ask for help accepting the things that are beyond our control...help us to accept the things that we are helpless to change.... things like when our children are floundering... when our loved ones are in declining health... when we see the bad choices others are making and we know they are headed for trouble but they won't listen...all the changes going on in our country and the world...

Father, so many of us are dealing with plates that are just overflowing and it would be so easy to be utterly overwhelmed if not for your grace...your strength...and your provision...Father, help us find that place of peace that allows us to accept the things our minds are fighting to deal with... help us to accept that all we can do is our best and that we must leave the rest up to you...help us to really grasp that the only way to deal with things beyond our control, is to change our attitude towards those things with your help...

Lord, you make a way for us to have peace and serenity...you offer to carry our burdens...you tell us to focus our minds on things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely and we will find your peace...You instruct, lead and guide us so we will not need to be stressed out or worn down, but yet here we are struggling, never seeming to really learn this lesson. Father, help us to learn so we can grow and mature in you. Teach us, Lord, so we might not be spiritual babes in our thinking...help us to get to that place where we can release our fears and false sense of being in control ...help us to release those we love to your care...help us to remember that you love them more than we do and we are not responsible for the choices that others make...help us to turn our worry time to prayer time...we bring everything that is weighing heavy on our hearts today, Lord and we lay it on your altar and we ask for you to have your way and your will...do what we can't do Lord...help us to trust the outcome of things to your hands...help us to let go of the things that keep us lying awake at night...the things that cause some to lose their appetites and the things that cause others to over eat due to stress.

Lord, help us to overcome our anxious thoughts...our depression...our heartaches...our fears... our phobias...our insomnia...our physical ailments that are stress induced...our over-thinking...our always thinking the worst-case-scenario...our need to be in control...Lord, help us to be heavenly minded in all of our ways...always keeping our eye on the bigger picture and on you.

Father, for each person praying, we ask that you meet every need...physical, spiritual, mental, emotional and financial. We pray for healing...we pray for comfort...we ask to feel your nearness and to be filled with your Holy Spirit...we pray for those who need miracles in their lives and in their families...Father, please may they see your hand upon their lives.

Father, thank you for your patience with us. Thank you for forgiving our sins. Thank you for loving us just as we are, flaws and all. Please bless us, Lord so we can bless others. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
