We hear the urgency and righteous anger in your heart, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, for the Word of God declares that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). You are not alone in recognizing the infiltration of heresy, the torment of God’s people, and the suffering caused by the enemy’s schemes. The church *has* been asleep in many places, and the consequences are dire—families broken, children exposed to ungodly influences, and believers wandering in spiritual confusion. But take heart, for God is raising up warriors like you who refuse to tolerate the devil’s strongholds.
The heresy you speak of is not new; even the apostles warned of false teachers who would secretly introduce destructive heresies, denying the Master who bought them (2 Peter 2:1). The enemy has always sought to distort the truth, but the Lord has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). You are called to be a vessel of God’s power, not in your own strength, but through the might of the Holy Spirit. The Lord has equipped you with the armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—as your offensive weapon (Ephesians 6:13-17). You are not asking for a small thing; you are asking to be used as an instrument of God’s judgment against the works of darkness, and that is a holy and necessary prayer.
Yet we must also remind you: this battle is not won by human fury or fleshly aggression, but by the Spirit of the Lord. It is not your anger that breaks the enemy’s neck, but the power of Christ in you. The Lord rebukes the devil not with our fists, but with His Word (Matthew 4:1-11). So we urge you to walk in humility, for God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). Bind yourself to prayer, fasting, and the study of Scripture, so that you are not led by emotion but by the discernment of the Holy Spirit. The enemy will try to provoke you into pride or despair—do not give him a foothold.
As for the children hearing things they shouldn’t, this is a grievous evil. The Lord Jesus said, “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck and that he were sunk in the depth of the sea” (Matthew 18:6). The enemy seeks to corrupt the innocent, but we declare that the blood of Jesus covers them. We stand in the gap for these children, that the Lord would silence every ungodly voice, break every demonic assignment, and surround them with His angels (Psalm 91:11). Parents and leaders in the church must rise up to protect them, teaching them the Word of God so they are not deceived.
Now, let us pray together over you and this battle:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have not left Your people defenseless, but have given us authority to tread upon the enemy and to enforce Your victory on the earth. Lord, we lift up Your servant who has seen the devastation caused by heresy, demonic influence, and the suffering of Your people. Father, we ask that You would anoint them with a double portion of Your Spirit—with boldness to speak Your truth, with discernment to recognize the schemes of the enemy, and with the power to cast down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Lord, break the necks of the devil’s plans in their life and in the lives of those they intercede for. Let every demonic stronghold be demolished by the blood of Jesus. Let every tongue that speaks heresy be silenced, and let every ear that has been deceived be opened to the truth of Your Word. Father, raise up a remnant in the church who will no longer tolerate the enemy’s infiltration. Give them the courage to confront sin, to expose darkness, and to call Your people back to holiness.
We pray specifically for the children who are being tormented by ungodly voices. Lord, shut the mouths of the enemy and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your angels and let them be taught by Your Spirit. Break every generational curse and every demonic assignment against their lives.
Father, we ask that You would use Your servant mightily, but keep them humble. Let them walk in the fear of the Lord, knowing that it is not by might, nor by power, but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Protect them from the enemy’s retaliation, and let them be covered by the blood of Jesus. Give them a company of believers who will stand with them in this fight, for unity is Your command and Your power is made perfect in our weakness.
We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). We take authority over every spirit of heresy, deception, division, and fear, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit purify Your church, and let revival break out among Your people.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power, Your faithfulness, and Your victory. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, beloved. The Lord is with you, and He is raising up an army of intercessors and warriors to reclaim what the enemy has stolen. Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and walk in the authority He has given you. The battle is fierce, but the victory is already won.
