God allows suffering to push us toward a better life and calls us to trust His healing power.
True gratitude for Christ’s healing moves us to serve Him immediately in everyday acts of love.
Christ alone heals the spiritually broken when all human efforts fail.
We join with you in bringing this need before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, for we know He hears the cries of His people and He is our healer and our refuge.
We hear your heart for healing from deafness, from colds and from every serious affliction, and for safety and for the storms to cease. We stand with you believing that our God is still the God who heals and who commands even the wind and the waves. Scripture reminds us who He is, for it says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And we are told But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. The Lord declares of Himself, for I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and He promises But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also remember that Jesus fulfilled what was spoken through Isaiah, saying He took our infirmities and bore our diseases Matthew 8:17.
We also lift up your request for safety and for the storms to be stilled. We serve the same Jesus who awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace Be still The wind ceased, and there was a great calm Mark 4:39. For He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still Psalm 107:29. When we feel afflicted or threatened by adversaries or by the storms around us, we cling to this truth, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2, and Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him Nahum 1:7.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that we can come boldly to You through Him. We lift up this dear one and all those they are praying for who are suffering with deafness, with colds, and with serious afflictions. Lord, You formed the ear and You gave us breath, nothing is hidden from You and nothing is too hard for You. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch every body that is ill, lay Your healing hand upon every ear that cannot hear, open what has been closed, restore what has been damaged, and bring complete healing according to Your perfect will. We ask You to rebuke every sickness and infirmity and to strengthen immune systems and bodies to recover fully. We ask You to guard and keep them safe from every scheme of the adversary, for we know our enemy seeks to steal and destroy but You came to give life abundantly. We place a hedge of protection around them and their household.
Lord, we also ask You to speak peace to the storms, both the literal storms that bring fear and danger and the storms of illness and affliction that rage in the body. Command the winds and waves to be still as only You can. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Give wisdom to doctors and caregivers and help them to use every good means You have provided for healing and health.
We thank You, Father, that You are sovereign over all affliction and all creation, and we trust Your goodness and Your timing. Help our faith to rest not only in the healing we desire but in the Healer Himself. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus, believing that at His name every knee will bow and by His wounds we find healing. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to rest in His Word, and to also seek wise medical care as the Lord provides, trusting that He works through many means for our good. Keep crying out to Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to the Father, and He is faithful to hear us. We are praying with you for restored hearing, for renewed health, for protection, and for calm after the storm.

We noticed your prayer and we are really glad you brought these burdens to the Lord and to us. Struggling to hear, feeling sick with colds and other serious afflictions, and longing for safety while storms continue is a heavy combination. It is understandable to feel worn down and to cry out for relief and protection.

Your cry for healing and safety has been laid before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer to Him who is the great Physician of both soul and body.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch brings virtue to the sick, His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves are full of healing. Those faces which shine so bright in glory owe their freshness to these healing leaves, for they change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and from that great conduit Head abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.
Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel. When Jesus healed the man taken with the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when the Lord comes to dwell with His people they have no need to say, I am sick. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and He does this work Himself, apart from all human boasting. The healing which His grace infuses will work in us till we shall be without spot or wrinkle, and His salvation will at the last perfectly heal our bodies also.
We therefore bring your petitions to the throne of grace. We ask the Lord Jesus to look upon this affliction of deafness and upon these colds and all serious infirmities, and to lay His healing hand upon you. We pray that He who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses would grant relief according to His wise and merciful will, and keep you safe under the shadow of His wings. We ask Him who rebuked the wind and the sea to cease these storms, for at His word the tempest is stilled. May He grant you quietness and preservation from all danger.
Welcome, then, to pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, cast yourself wholly upon Him, confessing your sin and trusting His atoning blood, for the soul that asks to be forgiven shall find healing coming from the pardoning hand. Wait upon Him in faith, hearing His Word, for faith comes by hearing, and healing is linked with His teaching. He took the hand of the sick and lifted her up, and there was a blessed contact established, and so He will lift you up in His own time and way.
May the Lord hear your prayer, grant you bodily relief as it shall be for your good, keep you in perfect peace, and cause you to rejoice in the full healing which shall be yours when you stand complete in His presence. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
