My husband and I have been separated for a month and a week. He lives with his brother and they both love to smoke pot. They love it so much that they are very mean when they are sober. My husband and I talk here and there on the phone, but we mainly text each other via cell phone. I see him maybe once a week. I have asked him to give our marriage chance and to move back home several times. He says he doesn’t want that. My husband was once a children’s ministry helper in Sunday school. He volunteered to coach kid’s flag football, and he always said yes when ever our pastor asked him for a favor. My husband used to pray with me and for me. We attended church together, and he even began to lift his hands during praise and worship. Well, besides turning his back on me and the kids, he has turned his back on GOD and the ministry. He has told me that he want s to live his own life and be free. In his anger he even said he wants to see other woman too. His temper is getting worse and worse, his heart is full of unfor giveness and hate. The things that come out of his mouth are vicious and hurtful. I was told today that I only treated him like a man only two weeks to a month at a time. Then I would stop cleaning, cooking, and having sex the way he wants it. He said that the good times we have had are not worth fighting for. He said he is tired of being neglected. We have been together for 4 ½ years, of which he has only financially provided for me and the kids 6 months of it. I have provided for him in every ways the rest of the time. I also go to school to become a nurse. I haven’t had work the last 5 months because my client passed away. I battle depression and I get insecure about a lot of things. I do have my flaws. I am not perfect. But I have done everything in love for him and the kids. And yes I have stopped doing certain things because I felt hurt or neglected. When my heart is hurt, I don’t want to cook, clean, or have sex. At least not at that time. I do my best to work threw my depression anger and hurt and then get back to being super wife and mom doing everything for every one. Many times I have wanted to end my marriage because of what he has put me threw over the years, not just the past 6 months. But I then remember why I married him in the first place and I know in my heart I don’t want to leave him or end my marriage. As of this moment it seems as though my marriage is dead. But I want God to heal and mend it. To make it the way it should be with JESUS as our foundation. But my husband has already left home. He has stated he does not wish to ever come back. My question is “IS IT POSSIBLE FOR MY MARRIAGE TO SURVIVE THIS AND WILL GOD GIVE ME THE DESIRE OF MY HEART WHICH IS TO HAVE MY MARRIAGE SAVED AND MADE WHOLE?â€

Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name, that You would save, heal, and bless our marriage. Fix what is wrong and make it right. Teach us both how to pray and intercede for each other and our children. Let love, joy, peace, and faithfulness to You God and each other reign within the walls of our hearts and home. Give both of us patience and a great respect for each other. Help us; teach us how to be gentle, compassionate, courteous, and tenderhearted toward each other. Delighting in one another; being of the same mind and united in Love.

God I would rather be reconciled than right. Don’t let the spirit of pride poison our relationship with each other or our marriage. Don’t let us play head games with each other. If this is happening let it stop. Don’t let anything, not one thing divide us. We Are One. Teach us both how to walk in love and forgiveness and ask for forgiveness when we are wrong. Let us purpose in our hearts and commit to each other to live and conduct ourselves honorably and becomingly to You Lord Jesus and our marriage. Let us esteem our marriage as precious, worthy and of great price.

God I place this marriage in Your Hands. Lord Jesus do whatever You have to do to save, heal, and bless our marriage. Knit us and our marriage together, rooted and grounded in Your Love Lord Jesus, so that nothing can destroy it. And God all that I have asked You to do for our marriage in this prayer, please do the same for everyone in my family that is married and all my friends that are married. God I ask all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen, So Be It, And It Is So!!!

I pray this prayer over all marriage requests listed on this site today: 2 Corinthians 13:14 (Amplified Bible) The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (so be it). In the Name of Yahshua the Messiah, by the power of YAHWEH the FATHER; I command you to be gone from this body, or my presence, or my sight, or my house, ye cursed of YAHWEH." No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be shown to be wrong. In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask God the Father to encamp His angels around you and your marriage and protect you from all dangers, such as human attacks or demonic attacks. They will patrol around your premises and your loved one and minister to you. Lord, your Word says: If I ask any thing in your name You will do it: I ask in Jesus name for husbands to love their wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, for husbands to love their wives as they love their own bodies and be united to their wives and become one flesh; you hate divorce, you are the creator of the institution of marriage, you show in your Word that you care about children and family, you will carry on to completion the good work you began, you are able to wall in and block the path of adulterers and have them go back to their spouse, your purpose prevails regardless of a man’s plans, a man must not divorce his wife, must not hate and do violence against the one he should protect, a man is to be faithful to his wife, nothing can hinder You from saving, we are not to break our vows, you gave us your Shalom (peace), you don’t want ANY one to perish, you can turn a king’s heart wither so ever you will, if I ask anything according to your will you hear me and if I know you hear me whatever I ask I know that I have what I’ve asked of you, no one and nothing can stand against you, you remove hearts of stone and replace with hearts of flesh, you grant repentance, nothing is impossible with you, I have not because I ask not. I ask that You remove any and all possibility of divorce & marriage separation in all marriages listed on this site, since you hate divorce and have told men that they must not divorce their wives. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder (separate)†(AMP). Father, it is written in Romans 5:5 that Your love is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us, and I declare that Your love operates without hindrance in our marriages. We put on love and enfold ourselves in that bond of perfectness, which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony [Col. 3:14]. In Jesus’ name, I declare that we have come to our senses and escaped out of the snare of the devil who has held us captive, and henceforth will do Your will, which is that we live and conduct ourselves and our marriage honorably [1 Tim. 2:26]. Father, it is written in Matthew 5:33 “Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’ In Jesus’ name, we ask you that from henceforth we, each couple, fulfill the vows we have made to one another before you, therefore fulfilling our oaths to the Lord. It is written in Rev. 2:4 You have forsaken the love you had at first. In Jesus name we ask that you return to us the first love we had for You and for each other.

Jesus, You said in Matthew 18:19, “Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven.†Therefore, we set ourselves in agreement, and we believe we receive now, and we praise You for it. Thank You, Father. Amen! (I know what you are going through - I'm in the same situation, without the pot.)

thank you for alll the encouragement and prayers. i will be praying for you as well.

Father we know you see the hurt and we Thank You that you have led this sister here to find strength and encouragement. Father we come against the enemy coming into this marriage and all struggling marriages on this site. Father we have had enough and we ask that you intervene on behalf of this sister and heal her hurt and repair her home and marriage. We also ask that you strengthen her during this time and lead her to others who can uplift and encourage her. Show her your will and even through this trial draw her closer into your loving arms.God does restore marriages and we believe and receive your promises. Hear our prayer we pray. AMEN
