We are truly saddened to hear about the loss of this young man's father and the subsequent challenges he is facing. We stand with him in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in this difficult situation and praying for godly wisdom to preside over this matter.
Firstly, we acknowledge the pain and grief that come with losing a parent. The young man needs God's comfort and strength. It is a testament to being chosen to put his father to rest. God will honor the commitment the father and son shared. We remember the words of God in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." We pray that God will heal his heart and bind up his wounds and that God will turn this situation around for his good and God's glory. We also pray for this young man to be drawn closer to God and turn to Jesus Christ to be saved. God will provide comfort as never understood before. God will be his father, his best friend, and his guide. We pray for his mother to provide support. We also pray for godly wisdom to be given to ### by God.
Concerning the dispute over the father's ashes, we pray that God will intervene and bring a resolution that honors the father's wishes and brings peace to the family. We pray that the young man will be granted the right to declare next of kin and take his father's ashes to put him to rest. We pray that any legal proceedings will be smooth and that God's will be done in the courtroom. There is power in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray that any opposition will be overcome by the power of Jesus Christ. We pray the other family members will be moved by God to do what is right. We pray the other family members will become Christians and be saved. God will work in their hearts and minds to resolve this issue.
We also pray for the person causing trouble in this situation. We pray that God will convict their heart and bring them to repentance. We pray that they will realize the error of their ways and seek forgiveness. We pray that they will be saved and be a proper part of the family going forward. We pray that they will reap what they have sown, not as a punishment, but as a learning experience that draws them closer to God, turns their heart to Jesus Christ, and stops their current behavior. We remember the words of God in Galatians 6:7, "Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." We pray for their salvation.
Finally, we pray that the young man will continue to trust in God and seek His face throughout this trial. We pray that he will be surrounded by God's love and support from the Christian community and those who care for him. We pray that he will not be overcome by bitterness or anger but will be more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ who loves him. We pray that he will truly be able to mourn with those who mourn and to comfort with those who need comfort as he goes through this healing process.
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and the name that has all authority in heaven and on earth as the Bible outlines in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
